See this is what's wrong with games these days. COD franchise is sooooo bad with the stories. The missions are the same nothing new or innovative. I hear so many times people don't play cod for the story. Well that's exactly it. This is why destiny is what it is. It wants to be like COD but it also wants to be so broad that it can draw in a lot of players. Problem is it's not sophisticated enough for those that like real games. It's a dumb version of an rpg. Runescape has more intellect and would challenge a 12 year old. Destiny is designed for 10 and up. That's why there is a lack of story. It's why the missions are so easy and nothing is complicated about it at all. Just like a cod game. It's all about instant gratification. Now I'm not knocking you for wanting to play something else, hell I've decided to get final fantasy XIV just to play some real mmorpg. Bungievision have bitten off more than they can chew. Lots of gamers that play FPS don't care much for the story lines and go straight for the multiplayer. Some players love story games and play the crap out of the story. I'm both that's why I thought Destiny would be for me. But it's neither, it's all repetitive. PvP is not special, we all feel more accomplished when we prestige or reach a certain rank in FPS, Destiny does not have this. You can't even view the medals you earned :-/ PVE is lame same mobs, predicable as ever. No real classes, they don't compliment each other significantly to have definitive roles. So you are right people will leave for COD and others will leave for Dragon age. Destiny was meant to bring the two together but it is a shell of an mmorpg and a weak FPS. I still hope that there is some kind of big load of content (free) that they will dump on us. It's too early to say, they have a 10 year plan, but I'm sure as hell not buying any more of their stuff until they fix what they have. If they call an extra strike, raid, 3 missions and some armour/weapons an expansion I would hate to see what they call a DLC!! A level cap to 32 really?? is there any point? I can't even raid, I don't have enough friends and trying to organise a raid takes forever. Ever played WoW? It's easy to find a party that's doing a dungeon or raid. Why would I attempt a raid by myself?? If they have on average 3.2m players how come they don't have a simple link up system like they do with pvp?? I'm ranting sorry, tell me what advanced warfare is like. Not getting it, I got bumped with ghosts and Titanfall. Letting these next gen games catch up to my expectations.

If the zombies are anything on par with the original black ops then yes, Destiny is dead. Kino Der Toten was more entertaining than the entire game of destiny.

Cod has the most immature gamers in existence. Just saw the reviews and it's a joke Activision can put out such a poor graphic, same-ol-shit game and the sheep flock to it

I've already switched to AW. Last CoD I played was MW3. And this new entry is noticeably faster paced. I don't feel like I'm trending mud. Special equipment is cool and different. Story is also pretty cool. At this time I can't say there is anything bad about it. Maybe because Destiny is just a total and complete let down.... or the fact that Battlefield series started their downward spiral with BF3. But ya, don't have buyers remorse with AW.

Good no more cod fanboys crying that everything needs to be nerfed and that the game was worthless. Bye you will not be missed by the people that really enjoy destiny

No you read incorrectly...[b]Advanced Warfare DLC has Zombies[/b]...[b][i]not the retail game[/i][/b]...but people enjoy being bent over while Activision buttf***s them so I'm sure many will flock to the game regardless...

I feel no one on this forum really understands destiny. The game just begins at level 20.. The "story" is just to give the game some character just as the "story" missions in WoW or even Borderlands are not the point of the game. Now jump down my throat, Destiny is not WoW but just because a game doesn't match your preconceived notion of what it should be; does not merit the rash of $hit it recieved. Destiny is about playing with people, hunting for exotic weapons, trying to max characters, the satisfaction of completing a raid with great teamwork and communication and the anticipation of your raid gear! Yes there are some grinding aspects and every game is repetitive, but WoW, borderlands, Diablo all these games have the same factors. If you dislike Destiny because it's not the unrealistic expectation of Halo + CoD + Mass Effect + Borderlands + MMO, then that's your fault. I will be playing both destiny and AW and Halo Master chief when it's out and all these games because they're good games. Quit being video games snobs and enjoy the massive AAA titles everyone does. :)

Your assuming a "Dramatic" portion of players are CoD players Your also assuming anyone even cares, besides if you think destiny is repetitive CoD has been releasing the same game for 8 years now with upgraded graphics and a twist to the guns every now and then. Really not much change over the years other than that and the First and Second set of Zombies

If AW has zombies, I'm buying it just for that.
