All my Motes of Light... Wasted and GONE
Bought an exotic engram for twenty-something Motes of Light from Xur. Cryptarch decrypted it into an exotic helmet.. for the wrong -blam!-ing class.
There goes months of hard work and dedication.
With every disappointment this game gets closer to ending up in the trash bin, and I'm really close to doing just that.
Just wanted to bring this to Bungie's attention. This is not how you reward players spending months playing your damn game.
Please fix this.

today... Xur doesn't sell anything that allowed Mote of Light as currency. Public event now drop Mote of Light instead of Accendant Materials.... I don't get it...

First of all you haven't been playing this game for months cause it's been out since sept 9 and it's October 9th today , second if you couldn't already fig out that purple and exotic engrams yield random items for random classes then you a dumbass , 3 rd you could have done your weekly heroic once a week for the past month you'd have enough to buy a exotic item from xur rather than spending motes for a chance at a exotic item . So it's not bungies fault your a moron

Months, do you time travel with the vex? Seriously, it says "(random class)". I got a hunter helm on my warlock. Guess what, I vaulted it, started a hunter because I really like the helmet.

1 ReplyAtm I'm sitting with 56 motes since Sunday when I started my hunter from scratch because I got a exotic helm from the crytarch. ..... Your given 3 player slots for a reason also you have 3 class specific achievements which require you to make a toon of all 3 classes the random class engram is there to help nudge that. Even if you didn't want to if you shard it you get 3 I think legendary shards from it which to me is well worth the price of 23 otherwise useless motes. Unless of course you like the stuff the speaker sell.

1 ReplyPlease read the description of the exotic engram. It says for a random class. If it's not your class level up another character and use it. Months of hard work? Were you playing before the game came out or what? Motes of light are not hard to get either, finish a nightfall and grind strikes, you'll get tons from xp and from engrams. Just wanted Bungie to ignore this, and bring it to the attention of an unenlightened player, who is not happy with being given exactly what he bought. No fix needed.

This post makes no sense and there is no reason for Bungie to fix this, so just create another character lol. Hell, if you were complaining about the horrible strike playlist (getting the same mission consecutively >:-I ) then I would agree, but for motes of light...really dude? Play vanguard tiger (if you are high enough) and you will get that back in no time.
