Stop asking for Jupiter/Saturn/Uranus/Neptune

Those planets would not make any sense to be included - they are gas planets, there is most likely nothing to land on (and if there was, you wouldn't be able to see anything anyways and there is absolutely nothing able to live or withstand their atmosphere). Best theories right now point to a (relatively to the overall diameter) very small MOLTEN core. Not a solid chunk of rock. Atmospheric wind speeds upwards of 1000km/hour. Mars, the Moon and Venus all make sense scientifically (Venus could theoretically be turned into a much more hospitable planet than it is currently, and Mars once had an atmosphere which allowed liquid water on its surface, and the Moon has no atmosphere at all so as long as you are protected from the solar radiation and have an oxygen supply, you're fine). The Jovian planets do not make sense at all. Getting some of their moons, though... That would be epic. Imagine standing on Titan and getting a 'Saturn Rise?' Amazing.

  • I'm glad you said the moons. I think this is what most people are thinking of, but they lack the backgound knowledge. I think pluto would be neat if it was dark because it is so far from the sun. It could be a little bit of survival horror by ghost light.

  • Uhm, the Traveler terraformed Mercury in a garden. Sooo, why couldn't he just change other planets. Space magic, anyone?

    • Dude you're seriously going to start cracking open the science book when there's space magic, inter-dimensional time traveling robots, and the same gravity on each planet? It's a video game, lighten up.

Bespin Cloud City. That is all I have to say. Edit: Sun! Let's ask for Bungie to let us go to the Sun! We would just have to walk on the night side.

      • Gas giants have a solid core, but you would be crushed by the gravity anyway

        • Devils advocate: we could build gas mining platforms on The gas giants similar to Bespin City.

        • No, keep asking for these planets. The traveler "geoformed" the planets we play on. I don't see any reason to why it couldn't do that on these other planets as well. This universe is suppose to be living and expanding.

        • You forget that the Traveler could have terraformed those planets into hospitable planets like mars and Venus with it's space magic. That would be epic on Titan! I would like to see Europa and possibly have water/underwater water exploration/ combat!!!

        • And yet we have Venus where the planet is so unstable. Volcanoes erupting. Super high tempertures. Earthquakes. And a atmosphere that could probably vaporize a human in seconds. Yea buddy Venus and the gas giants make the same amount of sense.

            • Let's not forget we technically don't really know what is underneath the gas giants.

              • The traveler could make it happen. We have earth-like gravity on the moon in Destiny, I'm pretty sure it could solidify the surface of gas planets.

                        • If you did a little research on specifics inside the game some things would shed light on the reasons why they will be added. lets take the jovian complex for instance jovian it's self is a term for Jupiter. Now we look at Xur if you dig up information on him you will see he comes from the jovian planets witch is the term for all if the gas giants one step further into the mix if you would look into your grimoire cards you would see that 2 of those gas planets are listed under Places as well as mercury. All in all i would say there's more than enough evidence supporting it's possibility.
