A few years ago, I expressed concern over a tradition you held in high regard in halo reach, known as teabagging. My son, who was 13 at the time (this is his old account), "teabagged" his little sister after they had a fight. In other words, I found him crouched over her with his pants down, rubbing his testicles in her. He learned this lewd behavior from Halo Reach. I can't find the thread I posted, but I expressed my outrage that this kind of behavior was not only condoned in the halo community, but it actually became an in-game tradition. Now it is my understanding that the halo franchise is no longer owned by your company, so you can't do anything to prevent this "teabagging".
I do wonder however, whether or not such lewd conduct will become a thing in Destiny. I will not let my son purchase it until I know exactly what kind of conduct he will be exposed to. I certainly hope teabagging will only remain exclusive to halo, otherwise I will seriously file a complaint with whatever authorities necessary. This is not something kids should be exposed to. It's one thing to have imaginary violence, it allows our kids to vent their frustrations. It's another thing to teach them that it is perfectly ok to beat somebody up, then rub their genitalia all over their faces.
I hope I posted this in the right place, this website changed since I last used it.

1 ReplyKeep your kid offline if u don't like it. No point in ruining it for us who aren't sensitive to harmless things like that.

It's not necessarily their fault or should be held accountable for that . If young children are able to play online you should have considered the possibility of what they might be exposed to. Also letting young children play m rated games isn't something to look over so easily because it's a shooter with adults/others ages that will always have at least a immature person to contribute towards said behavior . You can also control how to restrict certain aspects on a account like communicating with others . Sorry to hear that though .

9 RepliesHave your daughter clam stamp your son and call it even.

Your son didn't learn to take his pants off and rub his balls on your daughters face from halo, that's a load of shit. First, have you seen Masterchief's cog piece? (it doesn't come off) nor does he have pants. Secondly, the fashion of t-bagging only comes into play when you defeat your enemy. Which may be true in this case. The art of t-bagging your victim is supposed to be a funny "-blam!- you, I win". Whatever your son did was taught to him by other sources. Don't blame a harmless video game, although there is violence all you do is kill aliens & occasionally drop a knee on them.

This is one of the best necrobumps ever, lol.

1 ReplyOnly way to stop this is to stop giving your kid online games and any game with a M rating .......... prob here is bad parenting not the game
-
It's your fault that he did that in the first place. I'm tired of sh*tty parents like you using these things in games as a scapegoat for your bad parenting. If your son really did that, then you don't discipline him enough. Parents like you are pathetic
