there are 3 classes of Fallen. the one pictured is known as a Dreg. like the grunts of halo, these soldiers are often the first into battle, the ones that are easiest to kill. they are typically aremed with a pistol and an energy knife. unlike typical fallen, these Dregs have only 2 arms and a less armored head. like theives, the Dregs move fast and quick, but (most likley) like grunts they go down in a headshot. on a death scale of 1-7 the dregs score a 3.

5 RepliesThe Destiny game website says that the Fallen "think they're better than us," so maybe as a form of humiliation they cut off two of the Dreg's arms to make them look more human?

12 RepliesInteresting, see the nubs under their arms? I wonder if they've been cut off. Perhaps it's a ceremonial punishment? Or a caste system?

I think it has been said a few times that the Dregs are thieves... I think that they may be criminals punished with the removal of their arms and put into combat... but it could also be that they are immature and their arms havent grown in yet... I prefer this, even though I think it is less likely.

the hive, are an enemy race that have lived on the moon before our gold age. the thrall in the image above is the most basic of the hive but there are two types of thrall. the one in the image and this onehttp://www.cinemablend.com/images/gallery/s59536/Destiny_Beta_13806492619074.jpg which have red marks on them and have a black head instead of a white one. they are also smarter and faster. the normal thrall seem to have some kind of green space magic coming out of them. but this thrall with red marks does not have the glow. my guess is the small thrall are being controlled by a hive queen or the hive knight (guys with swords).
