In the demo as our noble guardian approached the wall in old Russia, he spooked a small flock of crows (blackbirds; whatever). So this means that some wild life probably, most likely scavenger type, survived this mass devastation of the golden age. Will the wilds ( or should the wilds) have packs of wild dogs, bears, mountain lions etc. That will be a threat to us as well as the aliens that now inhabit our planet. If so, would there also be strange new wildlife on the other planets?
Maybe we will find out in Beta. Giggedy!

1 ReplyYeah I could expect it. They made fun of their bird system that reacts to shadows, noise, movement and other stuff. Makes sense that a mountain lion may be defensive of its territory towards you. But I would expect very few and extremely rough looking animals.

3 RepliesThis would definitely be good for the game and it would justify the fur on the Titans armor.

2 RepliesI would enjoy that we would be capable of fighting mutated wildlife.

4 RepliesI'm doubting that there will be animals in the Wild, on earth or on other planets. I think that because we have guns, rocket launchers, and SPACE MAGIC, the animals would have to be unrealistically strong to pose any kind of threat.

3 RepliesSeeing new fauna would be pretty awesome. Especially with a story on how/why it evolved the way it did, but 700 years isn't much time for Mr. Darwin so I'd assume they'd have to go with alien fauna instead. Seeing hostile and timid fauna would probably add to the immersion as well, not everything you find should be attacking you. Also some sort of super rare space unicorn would be a cool way to start a in game myth.
