No I don’t want to run Liminality, Oracle, Delve etc, over and over…
So few choices!
Why isn’t every strike available through portal as a matchmaking option? I just don’t get the limited options available to us. I’m not going to grind three or four strikes (mainly battlegrounds) over and over just to progress a tiny fraction. It saps what little enthusiasm I had left…
Come on Bungie, why are you being so miserly?

1 ReplyRun from Portal get “curated” gameplay. Run Vanguard from world map get more variety. Unfortunately you don’t get “curated” loot. Also you get smaller groups of players. Portal was someone’s bright idea that never should have gotten past concept stage..

2 RepliesMaybe it’s a test to see how long players will repeatedly run a restricted amount of content to try and make a number go up for a relatively short period of time. If enough players grind this deliberately limited content then that’ll feedback to how much Bungie needs to provide going forward. People post that they don’t enjoy this ‘curated content’ (I’ve seen multiple people complain about Liminality as an example). But some have ran it dozens of times in the past couple of weeks. Bungie look at the engagement metrics and see success, particularly as they based it on existing content. I’m not criticising anyone or trying to say what anyone should/shouldn’t do but….I’m not sure that continuing to do something and not enjoying it whilst complaining about the thing not being enjoyable is really going to lead to positive change.

1 ReplyI'm with you, man. It just doesn't seem to be worth it. They really phoned it in with this expansion, and the super-slow leveling grind is the barfy icing on the cowpie cake that they have provided.

4 RepliesEverything and I mean everything we had before. Crotas End, Dungeons, etc. All the gear and armor should have been in the Tier system. Would have been pretty cool to run Crotas End Master to get say a Tier 3-5 Word of Crota or something along the lines of that

1 ReplyI'm not defending the decision, but with the playerbase as low as it is, finding people to play with in a timely manner depending what strike/ mission you want to run. Each may vary with popularity, and if the one you want to play is niche, you may wait a really long time. The focus drops follow the matchmade options, so they will generally be more popular. If all fireteam ops were matchmade, I would assume that only the focus drop options would have 90% of the players looking to play.
