How to change name after its been reset?

My name got reset TWICE. I didn't get any messages saying it was a CoC violation, it wasn't all that bad either. I don't have a name change after this second time and I really don't want to be stuck with a generic guardian name. Please help

  • Hello there, A name reset to default like that means it was detected or reported, reviewed by Bungie and reset to"Guardian####", that indicates that some part of the name broke the Code of Conduct or the Bungie Name Policy, was filtered, and can no longer be used. When that happens, you get the new name cross play message in-game as notice of the name change. To date, Bungie has issued 3 name change tokens, if you have used all 3 tokens, then at this time there is nothing that can be done to allow a custom name change or correction Stay tuned to the TWiD and official Twitter for updates

      •
I didn't get any messages saying it was a CoC violation, it wasn't all that bad either.
The only message players get is the cross-play one telling them their name was changed. Bungie haven't added any specific ones telling people it was a CoC violation or that it was forcibly changed by someone at Bungie. Forced name changes can consume unused tokens, so if you're now completely out of tokens then you're stuck with it unless Bungie issue another token in the future - there are no announced plans for that to happen currently.
Banned Name Policies Any Bungie Name that violates these policies or our Code of Conduct will be changed to "Guardian[Random Number]" and players may face an in-game ban. Changes performed by Bungie may consume a player's unused name change.
https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/7648312251284-Bungie-Name-Guide
