That’s crap because I’ve gotten several red border weapons with the roll I wanted. The benefit to crafting was that I am able to craft multiple versions and try different perks. Which is something you said was good about grinding endlessly. If your whole viewpoint is that red borders are all crap rolls, then you understand exactly why crafting is good because many people feel that way when grinding and always getting crap rolls from rng, because rng apparently shafts you in regards to red borders. At least crafting offers a chance. I’ve been fortunate with rng and have gotten great rolls as drops and red borders while also enjoying the ability to craft exactly what I want. The difference is that I don’t mind other people also getting good guns with wasting hours praying for rng to be kind.
