This thread plus some IB games finally got me to go into Comp and get this weapon. Comp placement was actually fun. And then this bad boy dropped with Lone Wolf + Sword Logic as everyone says... and I went to test it in IB....
Radiant Cliffs.. was playing lackadasical.. 1st engagement everybody B and C by the tree. I get the 1st kill proc Sword Logic x2.. just started melting. The gun itself has great stats and feels a lot better than BXR imo.. but with Sword Logic its not fair. Gun is Hotttttt
When I go for another roll (if thats even possible) I will be able to tell more if the whole weapon needs down-tuning but the 7 placement series roll is something I will try to pull out only in Comp type matches.. not casual 6s.. but I now have a favorable opinion of the comp modes overall.. lookin forward to that.. (hopefully non placement is ok matchmaking wise too)

The stats are great, I’m not complaining so much about that. But if you factor in flinch, sword logic, AND ttk then it makes you wonder. And for the record, if a hand cannon (or any gun) had that level of terror I’d probably make a post about that, too.

no its a fair point it may be the most OP pulse in the game.. like how Rose is that for hand cannons... whereas Belisarius never really took off (still a fun gun).. I wonder if thats a goal for Bungie (to make the comp weapons outliers).. but I hope not as more weapons being viable is more fun. I can tell you that I was countered at range by Jade Rabbit.. Cloudstrike.. but I had Jade when close enough and def with Sword Logic proc'd within a certain range. I also only switched to sidearm once in that match.. because felt comfy with the weapon close as well.
