I'm pretty sure the Vorpal Weapon nerf on Power weapons can be reversed now.

1 ReplyYeah I pretty much delete any power weapon I get with Vorpal because it’s just not worth using and I don’t have enough the vault space to keep it in case Bungie does buff it.

1 ReplyIsn't vorpal just fixing the issue that shouldn't be there in the first place of underperforming power weapons in pve? Bungie kept nerfing weapons into the ground in favor of broken op ability spam builds. Destiny was far more enjoyable when raids and dungeons had bosses where players were actually shooting their weapons at said boss together. Now everyone just runs hammer titan before the nerf or strand titan since lightfall instead to just easy mode through encounters. Destiny has been tuned for buildcrafters. Weeapons have been nerfed into oblivion. Player numbers dropped. What did Bungie do in response? Kept making the game harder, kept nerfing weapons and kept feeding to the elitists. Yea, one way to kill a game..

1 ReplyHonestly what they could do is have it act similar to harmonic resonance (Ron weapon origin trait). Have it increase the benefits for each weapon equipped with vorpal. For example on heavies they get the base 10% rhen if you equip another weapon with vorpal it gets a bonus 5% for both weapons then by equipping a third vorpal weapon it adds another 5% with for all 3 weapons. That way you get a passive buff that you have to build into for the benefits. 1 vw standard percentage 2 vw increase by 5% 3 vw increase by another 5 or 10%

5 RepliesBungie hates passive perks like Vorpal Weapon. For some reason they add perks that force us to keep swapping weapons for short buffs on another weapon instead of using them for their intended role at their intended time.

Vorpal doesnt even work if you switch off a rocket or gl before it impacts. Making worthless in any swap rotation.
