-
1 ReplyI can’t remember when it was ever good, even when stasis was first introduced.
-
1 ReplyThis definitely isn’t a PvP take ☠️
-
It’s awesome in PvP. Never enjoyed it in PvE unless playing with friends that stay with you to kill all the frozen ads you create.
-
Edited by ACROCANTHUS: 11/5/2024 12:49:06 PMI do not get the people here saying it's a great super. It isn't. It's great at killing red bars! Wow! You know what else is? A single bleak watcher turret. Shadebinder struggles to even kill orange bars in content that isn't trivial.
-
Am I the only one complaining about how weak warlock stasis super is?
You're the only one complaining about it now - the rest of us did it when Beyond Light released and then got bored complaining when it became apparent nobody was listening...

1 ReplyEasily the worst Stasis Super for PvE. Outside of being a unstoppable stunner, it’s damage is far outpaced by Glacial Quake at this point due to how strong shatter is (seriously, Stasis Crystals are chunking after the buff) and the amount of stasis crystals they can produce, and Hunters can use their weapons while their supers is freezing and shattering. What Warlocks got is a roaming super that’s very slow in movement, and don’t give you enough much performance for how long you be in the super.
-
2 RepliesI just find the stick animation jarring. It's a good roaming super - great at add clear. It's not a boss dps super imo.
-
It's a roaming Super. Those are very rarely used for DPS. Roaming Supers are used for ad control and PVP.
-
First off, this roaming super is capable of doing good glitch dps if you use winters wrath and drop two turrets down and time the shatter to cause the shatter bug, which chunks health gates. Second, most roaming supers do -blam!- dps anyways, because most roaming supers are not intended for dps phase, also impact supers are better for dps phased, because you can throw them then use a good combo of weapons to pull better dps than any roaming super (unless your using a goofy setup with a roaming super to either cause shatter glitch dps, or one two punch to increase meele dps on a roaming super). Third, the warlock stasis super has the highest damage resist our of all supers in the game, ir even had higher damage resist than ig well, and the block on titan void roaming super. Can be used to tank pretty much everything in a gm (not even a glaive or tatin void super block/bubble can survive a full barrage from the lightblade boss on a gm, but the stasis warlock can). Fourth, the warlock super is one of best ad clearing supers in the game. This super does not need a boost to damage, it's already a very powerful super, giving it a damage boost for the intention of making it a dps super would be idiotic, then it would cause bungie to mostlikly nerf its other features that make it a very powerful super as it is now.
-
If you use osmiomancy and throw two turrets and spam shatter button you do very good damage and it last very long just a tip I use for shade binder for dps
-
Bungie said they're going to be tuning roaming supers later in pve.
-
3 RepliesLaughable, truly laughable. If you believe Winter's Wrath is for boss damage, you've not only missed the point, but you've failed at the art of war itself. This isn't some mundane light show for the dim-witted. This is a demonstration of our unparalleled genius.
-
It's not for DPS.
-
It's not a damage super. It's an ad control super.
-
1 ReplyYes you are. It's one of strongest roaming supers warlock has, being able to clear entire rooms of enemies in gm difficulty. I'd like to see you try to do the same on any other roaming super of other subclasses.
-
54 RepliesIn every super damage testing, hunters stasis super is the 2nd weakest in damage. Warlocks super with star eaters in middle of the pack
-
1 ReplyCould be worse. You could be stuck with Spectral Blades, a Super so bad that you basically never see it anywhere unless a Hunter needs Void Ability kills for a bounty.
-
Damage wise it’s pretty bad - Wrathweavers make it better but it’s still not amazing. It’s great for CC-ing and deleting groups of ads. It’s a little reliant on Iceflare Bolts to increase the freeze radius, but it’s definitely alright. Stormtrance and Nova Warp need more love in my opinion
-
In terms of damage, definitely. I think the idea is that it’s supposed to provide crowd control for your allies to then clean up.
-
We need more options overall, it's been over 3 years with the same supers and abilities for Stasis, though even Void needs more melee abilities and eventually Strand as well needs options. Warlock needs a single target damage Super, maybe throw the staff at a point and the longer it takes to travel the larger/more damage it gets? I could also see Titan getting an icicle gatling gun super where they are able to spray down an aerial target, or even Hunter getting a large two-handed sword as a super that slows on light attacks and shatters on heavy attacks. There are a lot of great ideas out there but we really just need more options. Until then I will keep using Ager's Scepter if I want to do more damage with my Stasis super.

7 RepliesEdited by MasterChiefBomb: 11/5/2024 3:27:01 PMI think it’s great! Crazy ad clear. For dps just use nova bomb + star eater.
-
That’s because it’s not a DPS super…
-
4 RepliesEdited by Ghostfire239: 11/5/2024 8:27:21 PMIn PvE, it’s the weakest stasis super (for damage) In PvP is the strongest Stasis super.
-
Yes, because it's VERY good lol. It's not a DPS super, so I'm sure it is underwhelming when used incorrectly.
-
Cap af it’s top tier. Ya it’s not gonna drop 10k boss dps but it has super strong add clear and its DR is insane. My buddy was face tanking Alak-Hul in the gm and never dropped into the red. It’s definitely top 3 warlock super no doubt.
