Exploding ammo bricks have no place in GM’s

        I don't know how ya'll are struggling with this modifier, it's funny as hell and i haven't seen a single death to it, even in GMs. They give you ample to avoid one if you get cllose, they even make noise as you get closer and you can shoot them to get rid of them at a distance. I don't want to be rude but if you're over and over again running into them and dying, then that is genuinely a YOU issue and you should work on your general awareness.

        • I personally believe it ruins the gameplay loop, Some might argue it is creative, and that’s a fair enough point, but to me it completely disrupts the core gameplay.

Or whatever the hell your calling them now a days[/quote] They do barely any damage to you and are easy to tell that they’re explosive bricks by their glow. Explosive months are more deadly and famine is more impactful on gameplay. It is obvious the one lacking “skills” is not bungie in this scenario.

                • Personally, I’m good with it. It got me a couple of times but now I purposefully run over them because the delay before the explosion is long enough to where you’ll be fine. Now what’s funny is when you finish an enemy and an ammo brick explodes while you’re locked in the animation haha.

                  • The new modifiers is what make me skip strike (Standard 1955) reset. Before Episode 2 started I use to do them each day religiously. Now I skip if I see a modifier I don't like. Cuz I'm not alone. I Carry players a lot and they don't want to do GM or strike anymore because of that. The players pool is going down buy they keeps adding stupid stuff cuz 10 guys stream and whine about the fact the game is too easy for them. The difference is they are on pc that cost a morgage provided by PC company or retailer and macro key everything. Play 16 hours per day. Give me the same support and I'll solo everything too. The casual player if he can squeeze 2 hours per day, with the job, family time and evetything, that's a miracle. Seeing that they put more stuff that make the game harder when they had arleady hard time with stuff. They just don't want to play that game. If they want to keep the new modifiers, then they should put them as Strike (Advanced 2005) and beef up the reward like Red boarders that are not in the pool except from Xur or once each 3 months at Banshee. Adept drop or something. For GM they just need to do a GM+ with those modifiers and Artifice Armor drop or each item drop at +1 ot +2 Power. Will up the chance of leveling up since you can be stuck at a light level for 1 month if the Gdamn Gauntlet you're missing at 2010 doesn't drop at all. They keep adding stuff but don't fix the broken one like 1 moths that can wipe a whole fireteam cuz it blast like Little Boy and Fat Man from back in WW 2. The Skimmer that take 3 hours to get off of it. A newly discovered bug for me since Episode 2 launch. The Modifier do change between strike. Can have solar stasis surge and the ammo bombs in one and in the next I'm like why less damage. Go back to orbit and look at that Void stasis with melee punch now. But the reset is due only in 5 hours. Do something else check again 10 minutes later and well s**** solar is back now WTF ????

                  • I've just uploaded a video to my YouTube channel pertaining to this particular modifier, which I hate with a passion (and every single other new addition). As a longtime strike expert, something as heinous as this doesn't belong in the game. There are other horrible modifiers this season, such as the one that doesn't permit you to sit still. I know how to avoid dying off from such a negative factor, but it only makes the game far more stressful than it needs to be. When you apply this toxic affliction into a grandmaster and your only chance of survival is staying in one location while the enemies are one or two-tapping you from across the way... you really expect to have people constantly on the move in this kind of situation?

                      • I wouldn't mind a landmine modifier so much except a lot of times the ammo is either completely hidden inside a dead body or you kill an enemy at close range that drops the explosive brick directly on top of you. It's plainly just a gimmick designed to inflict cheap deaths and waste revive tokens.
