as a solo player, the community has convinced me about the mission dual destiny and destiny as a whole
3000+ hours in the game but bungie and many members of the community has convinced me that solo should just not play this game and i've decided to listen to that advice.

Did the solo community ever stop the hissy fit long enough to think maybe, just maybe Bungie did consider you when making this mission? Maybe just maybe that’s why they made it a dual mission instead of the traditional 3 man, it’s a lot easier to find one person than 2. Did you ever think the reason they added the exotic class item to the pale heart chests after your first completion is so that solo players can use the in game lfg system bungie spent tens of thousands of dollars making to encourage team play, spend less than 30 minutes with another person, and then never have to do it again if they don’t want to? Or how the “timer” that everyone frothing at the mouth about, ever notice how this is the first time it’s ever been encounter specific? Every other mission has all been from the time you start until the boss is dead. Nvm how generous they are. You ever think that was a happy compromise between players who actually play together as Bungie intends, to have an amazing experience that ties in with the lore and work together, and solo players who want to experience the lore but have an easier time getting rolls on the class item as well? Providing a great mission and an easier farm at the same time. Maybe Just maybe It’s not allllllll about solo Maybe Just maybe It’s good to compromise and take the W This is the most powerful exotic in destiny’s 10 year history If you refuse to even spend 30 minutes with one other person I honestly don’t understand what type of end game content you’d be playing where it’s needed. Especially considering you all want the reg content to be made easier across the board.

6 RepliesWhen the game says it’s a multiplayer game and the other gamers reminds you that it is a multiplayer game, they are probably right. If you are a solo player, it’s good to realize this empty game is not for you anymore. It’s a dead game anyway! 🤣🤣🤣 Absolutely nothing here but a shamble mess of shallowness!

7 RepliesDestiny 2 always ignores the solo community. No one likes us even though we’d be more than happy if they just listened. That’s all they have to do. If solo players continue putting in negative feedback everywhere possible, they’d listen probably.

27 RepliesIt's just ludicrous how the elitists have grabbed on to this DLC as if it were actually as good as the paid reviews claim. It's just not. They can pretend all they want, but the numbers will tell the real story. "But that's to be expected after the story has wrapped up!" Yeah... It's not. Bungie promised a reason to continue playing Destiny, but has absolutely not delivered. 90% of the campaign was a snoozefest, and any reviews that call this a good story don't actually know the story of Destiny. The Witness in no way "wraps up" the story and absolutely does not answer any questions. The Winnower is still out there and The Witness was just another tool of the Winnower like Oryx, except Oryx was cooler.

As much as I hate the dual destiny being a forced item, I'm never going to try do coop focus missions again, iconoclasm has p***** me off trying and had somebody literally saying " dude Ur level 8, U should be as damn gd" newsflash kid, like it really means a thing. So frankly if this means I will end up back rank 7 so be it. Had my fun now it's running slim

1 ReplyGreat decision I've made the same one once this episode Is done, made my decision on how to free up space much easier. Was happy to see the light/dark saga end but time to more on to better more respectful games.

1 ReplyI don't play any content that requires a mic or text, a decision that is regularly justified. I still enjoy the game a lot though, missing out on a few more pieces of loot won't ruin that.

6 RepliesIt's not the best game, but if you want to play a game where the developer rewards its player base for the time spent playing the game that is well worth it, check out Warframe. Solo players are welcome and you have access to all the content in the game, and the community is a hell of a lot more helpful and respectful to solo players.

3 RepliesI agree. Bungle has no respect for solo players. Kind of like how sweats act, all superior and arrogant. Can't even ask for there to be solo options without them piling on because their rights have somehow been infringed. I don't ask for less team play, just a fair shot for solo players. Bungle says no, so when they emailed me to buy Final Shape I declined.

40 RepliesAs a solo player, there have always been things in Destiny built for team play. If the Dual mission is the tipping point for you, fair enough. Just seems odd that so many players accepted all the other stuff, but not this.

Tbh if you're not doing raids/master content/GM's i dont think the class item will improve your gameplay significantly anyway and its limited to prismatic , if in this 3000+ hours you never had issue with people doing raids/Master content / GM's this shouldn't bother you aswell , its not like they stopped releasing new exotics and are only sticking to this, Don't have to overreact to everything.
