I've been a solo player since I started playing destiny, and I was really excited to farm these new exotic class items but I'm just learning it requires another player?? I've gone so long without most raid loot and dungeon loot because my anxiety prevents me from talking to strangers through voice chat, but now these?? It honestly suck and I probably wouldn't have purchased the dlc if I knew this.

It's like people forgot Rat King existed once upon a time. These new exotics aren't even important, all the games content is beatable without it and is a just reward from the content it comes from. I think you kids are way over-reacting and need to grow a back bone because there's plenty of people with disabilities of all sorts beating this game just fine.

I’m solo and don’t belong to a clan and I got one.
why can't solo players get the new class items??
Because it takes two ppl. It's not that complicated.

“Lifestyle Skill issues”

2 RepliesThe real exotic class item is the friends you make along the way.

15 RepliesI would also like Bungie to answer this question address this issue Do they still want solo players in the game? Is this the future direction of Destiny ? Why did they market the class items in trailers, Vidocs, Videos, Blog articles IF this is the ONLY way players can obtain them? and how can Solo players obtain this (and fully solo !! do not say use LFG) I want to know IF these items will ever be available FULLY SOLO !! If there is no way, perhaps solo players like myself should move away from this product.

I was with you until I seen you say you can't get dungeon loot solo. Lol get out of here with that nonsense

I assume they will just add it to the loot pool eventually. I will get it then, I might care more if they weren't god awful ugly. But for now, nope, I have zero interest in going through that mission.

1 ReplyYou're NOT alone. Destiny's population is already dropping.
-
Im cool with raids requiring 6 players, I’m not ok with anything less to require more than 1 player to complete.
-
They made a patch not so long ago to prevent this issue. I think the patch was saying something like : "Nothing in this world forces you to play solo in this coop game and if you want the exotic class item so bad, find a team mate for 30min then go back to your kirito solo player gameplay"
-
The reason you would need the class items is for endgame, and almost any endgame activity where the class items would make a difference requires people anyway.
-
I don't think you need the class item for your patrol zones, but in the event that you do I'm sure it isn't so hard to have a single social interaction
-
Solo players can get it, all they need is an LFG or friend for a single completion.
-
L, just use the in-game LFG and stop asking for handouts, it's not that bad, this is an MMO game, get over your social anxiety for at least 30 minutes
-
Psssssst can you get the raid exotics solo?
-
2 RepliesIs that hard to make friends?
-
1 Replybecause bungie made the game for streamers and top 10% of the player base. that's it in a nutshell . bungies loves heavy mechanic based team games. so they really have little time or interest in anything else in destiny. it's who they are.
-
Why can’t solo players get all the raid items? Seems a bit unfair. I could have sworn I heard Bungie say this game was designed for the solo experience from the ground up
-
3 RepliesWe had raids since d1, we have had dungeons since forsaken, we had secret missions for a while, we had GMs since shadowkeep. Am sorry, but this game is a multiplayer game, if you are looking for a solo game I suggest a single player game or do strikes, story missions, gambit, pvp, season event, everything that you already been doing for the past decade of playing this game.
-
Because they've made it clear they don't want solo players or casual players for that matter anymore. They've completely forgotten what this franchise is. It used to be a place for anyone to come and do whatever they want and whatever difficulty they want with whatever gear they want and play however they want while having fun no matter what. Thats not the game anymore sadly. All it is now is a hardcore sweaty grindfest with no soul and is alienating to most players in some manner. Eventually, even those that fit the criteria will be alienated or outright kicked to the curb by Bungie to start the cycle over.
-
7 RepliesSince 2018 you have cleared only 15 raids and 19 dungeons so tell me solo player whats the point for you to farming this exotic class item huh? what you wanna make a build for a strike playlist or something? whats the point please tell me
-
They can, you just have to team up.

That’s a good question, why can’t solo players get the new class items? The activity works, seems bug free, the servers are stable and I can load in just fine. Really not sure what the issue is. Now excuse me, I’m going to go play the single player version of salvations edge.
