Is xenology bug still not fixed?
Little frustrated that I wait a whole week for Xur to pop back in and completely oblivious to my full inventory I talk to him and don’t get the exotic cipher, am I just a fool who doesn’t know it can be claimed somewhere else or is this a bug that’s still ruining everyone’s day for the past few years?

Hi there. Players can only hold up to 5 Exotic Ciphers in their inventory at a time. If you have a full stack or no available slots in your Inventory, the quest can't be turned in or when you turn it in you'll get nothing. Exotic Ciphers do not go to the postmaster so it's up to you to check your inventory before turning in the quest. If you got nothing, unfortunately the cipher is lost and you will have to wait until the next time Xur comes to get another. It is recommended that players use a ciphers if they have 5 already or make space before turning in the quest.
