pvp: no special ammo when joining mid game
When joining late to a cruicible game you get no special ammo (as solo player u get used as filler very often if someone leaves a game). So you join into a game where the enemy team has been farming super and special ammo. And me not even getting the two bullets in my shottie.
Result: I will just ALWAYS leave game when joining late.
You might want to rethink this.

I wish they would scale super progress when joining a game. Meaning, if the time limit is 10:00 and you join six minutes in, your super bar is filled to sixty percent. Even that is stingy, given many supers have 7-ish minute cooldowns, but it is better than nothing.

4 RepliesEdited by Rev: 4/7/2024 6:56:10 PMI'd rather we just get the old system back and for Bungie to actually, intently nerf the things that need to be nerfed rather than completely reinvent the wheel given their penchant to do so. Shotguns were overly potent and that's why they remain to be the best option in this new sandbox, and seemingly the only Special weapon archetype people use anymore as a result of these changes. Shotguns are also largely uncontested within 10 meters just because of the emphasis on precision; it's unreasonable to expect any legitimate player to perfectly track an aggressing shotgunner's head within such chaotic distances, especially with the archetypes of weapons assumedly best-suited for those ranges like Sidearms and SMGs being in the mix.

There are many weapons that do not require special ammo. I can't see a problem 🤷♂️

I’ve made so many posts about this and have seen so many other posts about this. It’s what happens when Bungie implements a broken matchmaking system with dubious lobby balancing. The games are not fair to begin with, so no, I don’t blame anyone for leaving - regardless of when they leave a match. Bungie prioritizes other BS that makes no sense when we’ve been begging for years for them to fix this broken matchmaking system. At this point it’s gotten so bad that I’d rather they do a total reset and bring the matchmaking system back to vanilla.

Joining a match in progress is truly awful. You start with no special, less super energy, 50-75% of the time the team is losing, and typically one or more players on the enemy team are running an annoying playstyle or build.

1 ReplyThat's just silly. I joined in two games in progress this week because some doofus left because they were way behind and in both cases I did very well for myself. I think we even won one of them. If you think you can't compete without special ammo, you're worse than me... And that's saying something. I'd be embarrassed if I were you.

what happening to the AI in NF too?? Enemied are teleporting left and right and showing up out of nowhere.
