2 RepliesI want nimbus gone because they do not fit in this game and they are extremely annoying. They look like a corpus rip-off from warframe and their demeanour is cheesy, cringy, and does not fit with the whole ‘end times’ theme this expansion was touted as embracing. I literally have to mute the dialogue whenever I go to Neptune or I get put in the new strike in the playlist because I can’t bare how awful the dialogue is. People who want nimbus gone for bigoted reasons are a vocal minority and nothing more. It is quite possible to be critical of a character, or a real person for that matter, without involving bigotry. I live in Scotland for heaven’s sakes, have you seen how liberal minded it is here? I don’t give a damn how someone lives their life, I do however care about second-rate devs prioritising petty politics and god-awful writing over quality content.

I cannot stand listening to nimbus talk. Not at the fault of the voice actor, but the material they had to work with. They speak like an actual 13 year old. It’s cringy and way out of line with the tone of lightfall.

Like, what's with that awkward bulge, peak musculature, and stripper armor? Very hypocritical if you ask me. Let's just make things fair and add a hot voluptuous chick and maybe I'll forgive Nimbus for existing.

2 RepliesIt's awful writing .... this should be the darkest expansion I mean dang .... the opening cinematic had this Witness snapping a finger and killing ghosts thus killing guardians. Then you're introduced to bad comedy, bad voice acting, and writing that doesn't fit the story. UGH It just doesn't fit.

The beloved original characters are either impotent or get killed off, while the new wacky self-insert characters get the spotlight. Makes me wonder how many of the original writers for the game are still around.

I can't take him seriously. He sounds like 90's "hero" turtle Mikey, or god forbid even the Bay remake. "Totally tubular, Guardian. You most awesomely smashed those vex creeps AND those shadow legion dudes, who were MOST non-triumphant. Now follow me on my giant bladed silver surfer board thing, as I sky surf to the next destination so I can stand somewhere nearby, MAYBE do something off screen, and give you some totally rad advice in your earpiece. COWABUNGA!" It was funny with Bill and Ted cos they were well meaning idiots who stumbled into a destiny to save the world! But THIS tw*t?! Rohan sounded NOTHING like him, so why does Nimbus talk like that?! He sounds like a young Brendan Fraser (or if you watched Doom Patrol you know what I mean.) Rohan sounded like a real warrior, gruff and full of wisdom and just 3 days from retirement, but at least he was serious. It would've been much more interesting for the young brash Nimbus to have tried to save the day instead of Rohan. Suddenly Neomuna is left with only one OLD cloudstrider who doesn't have time to train a new one yet, being in the middle of war. We could have had subplots gathering information to decide on a new cloudstrider. It would make sense why old, near dead Rohan isn't as involved because of his responsibilities, and we'd hopefully feel bad as Nimbus, full confident that we are gonna be able to save him with our new green string, just can't.... and then it hits him what he's done. And he's scared but resolute to see it to the end, shouting for everyone to get back. Would've hit way harder imo. Instead we got the old guy about to retire who dies, duh, and we're left with the idiot "surfer duuuude".
