Warlocks power sucks for pvp
It's crazy hunters and titans have melees and grenades that kill INSTANTLY, BUT LET ME STICK A GRENADE TO MY OPPONENTS HEAD, WATCH IT EXPLODE Not Once BUT TWICE. And the same opponent kills me and lives. No matter the power, that ability want kill INSTANTLY. my light lvl is 1586

Are you being serious?, Everyone has the same nades and I'm sorry, warlocks are more diverse in my eyes for pvp. If that did happen. Maybe that person had bad connection? I've never survived one of those nades

5 RepliesWarlock melees are insanely fast and powerful. I have had my booty cheeks clapped numerous times by warlocks. Warlock melees are faster than someone hanging up on their boss asking them to come in on a day off. Plus, empowering rifts plus whatever weapon you want, hit harder than a NFL line backer on -blam!- lol.

2 RepliesWarlock main here. What? Did you bonk your head on the way to your desk? Warlocks have some of the most powerful and diverse kits imaginable. There is NO bad PvP subclass on Warlock. Stasis is still insane, Solar has incredible survivability, Void is a chain-exploding dream, and Arc is great for area denial. I suggest trying to make (or look up) a build and try it out. My current favorite is a Stasis build with 100 Resilience, Recovery, and Discipline.

TLDR: Warlock good. Me like a lot No. Warlocks are very strong. Arc is arguably the weakest class, and it’s still good. I’ve been running TT Arc for about 3 and a half seasons, and it’s amazing how simple yet powerful it is. Dawnblade is obviously strong with Solar 3.0, and it’s ability to gain map control. Shadebinder is still strong. Here’s a video if you want a really in-depth guide (yes I’ve personally used it recently, and deem it as a strong pick). https://youtu.be/ZCq4XjbixuI Voidwalker is strong even after Axion Bolts have been nerfed. It has great crowd and zone control. Devour is incredible for 6s, and Child of the Old Gods is arguably broken. In conclusion, Warlock good.

Yeah they are under powered compared to what titans and hunters get. Don’t let all the -blam!- in here tell you otherwise. Hunter invis and radiant on demand is ridiculous.

1 ReplyAre you talking about flux grenades? Everyone is going to get the one shot sticky next season. If bungie nerfs the grenade and stops players from getting one shots then that leaves hunters as the only class in the game able to get one shots without exotics. That to me would be a bummer, its already BS enough hand held grenades no longer one shot considering its charge time, movement penalties and being vulnerable without being able to shoot.

Warlock's power does suck in PvP but not for reasons given. Grenades are now equal. Melee recovery - which used to be slowest of all, guaranteed loss in any double melee encounter - is now equal. Cons:/Competition: 1. Void Warlock got comparatively nothing in contrast to Invisibility on demand on Hunter. Warlock lost exclusivity on devour and ONLY gained Invisibility via PvE only finishers. With Omnioculus and Lord of Wolves this is the post-BL Shatterdive. It's OP af and it's everywhere. 2. Solar Hunter then Radiant on demand. Another class exclusive. Why bother needing to use up a charged melee and get a hit to proc Radiant when all you need do is flip. With a build, flip every 15 seconds. OP and completely lacking any remote balance. 3. Lorelly. Don't need to say anything more. Pros: 1. Dawnblade is still excellent. Solar 3.0 did nerf it meaning you lose your entire rift if you want to Phoenix Dive, which is ridiculous. Every other class got buffs. But it's still one of the best. 2. Stasis. Post the YEAR LONG Shatterdive combo fiasco - that's a YEAR of unplayable Destiny PvP - Stasis Warlock is now probably the best of the three. At least, very good. TLDR So Dawnblade, Well, Shadebinder are good. Invis, Radiant on jump, and Lorelly have literally broken the game. Melees and grenades are fine.

Can only get a one shot Shoulder charge if you are using an exotic, and sprinting. Kind of situational as opposed to just throwing an extended melee at someone.

Every class has their benefits, their skill caps, and their flaws. Sometimes I find myself looking at hunters and saying to myself that [i]they[/i] are the ones who are the best for pvp. (Having dodges that make you go invis, instant verticality in jumps, etc.) But in all honesty there are some Warlocks that have frustrated me in almost the same way (extended melees, supercharged grenades, arc souls, etc.) Then I looked at my own class, the Titans. (Shoulder charge that [i][b]used[/b][/i] to one shot, high speeds moving forward, ability to shoot through a one way wall, etc.) Every class has their cheeky mechanics. If you feel as though you are lacking in pvp as a warlock and that hunters are stomping on you over and over again, [b]maybe[/b] you should use your hunter as you pvp main! It’s fun to switch it up! There is no shame to pick the class that you think has a natural advantage in a certain mode. Warlocks are the team support class and the PvE gods. Titans are sort of the middle IMO, and Hunters shine on kicking some Bhind in the crucible. (My opinion) That being said, I have very competitive friends in PvP and one is a warlock and has achieved just about every feat there is to make. never limit your abilities, [b]you[/b] alone have the ability to crush your opponents in the crucible. It takes hard work. But what’s greater? Going flawless with a class that’s not as optimized for PvP? Or going flawless with a class designed for it? [spoiler]it’s up to you to decide[/spoiler]
