Lol, yooooo.
I’ve never seen this much even in call of duty. It’s a trend I see, lol. Protest that horrible experience the developers got in place. I’m not mad at any of you. It’s just a terrible experience

Edited by Fibby: 5/2/2022 4:18:40 PMCant really blame people for leaving when the team balancing is as bad as it is, and on top of that there are constant connection issues between Xbox and Playstation. They also could match large fireteams against each other instead matching them with a bunch of solo players game after game. Fix those things and quiting will happen a lot less.

This is so demotivating me to come back to PVP after a year of absence. I really want to come back but it looks even worse when I quit a year ago. There is no hope. Next season, maybe?
-
If I leave blame Bungie
-
The reality is, this is a video game. We play video games to have fun. If I'm not having fun, then I won't continue playing.
-
1 ReplyI used to be the type to stick it out every time. I'd get annoyed when ppl quit. Now I'm like the sponge bob meme, where he's standing up, saying "aight. I'ma head out". Fed up with bad matches. Bye.
-
I NEVER did it. I try my best every time, even against all odds.
-
Community is full of snowflakes wanting carrying. Played legend dares today, 4 guys had no mods on. First area, barrier champs wiped them out, after 2 deaths each, all 4 left 1 by 1.

6 RepliesIf my team is getting railed and there’s zero chance of a comeback I’m out and I’m not going to feel bad. If it’s comp I cliff jump as fast as I can and I still don’t feel bad. Unless it’s survival. In which case I just hide until my team is dead THEN cliff jump. If I’m not having fun then nobody can make me try. It’s that simple.

Look at all these pvp mains that take their ball and go home when things aren't going their way.
-
1 ReplyI leave, it’s not my fault lobby balancing is bad. I like to have fun, not loose 5-10 matches in a row
-
2 RepliesI support multiple quitting penalties. Quitting mid match shows little honor and sportsmanship. The only way to truly get good at anything is to practice and support those willing to learn. The same is true for athletes and gamers. Great athletes take criticism and bad games as challenges and support others. Bad athletes are those that only perform for fame or money. Yes long balancing is bad, yes staying is hard and frustrating, yes it makes the game less fun, yes lag can be a factor. Frankly quitting is too easy with zero consequences. Bungie knows we are frustrated and hopefully is working on it. Rant over.

The only time that I leave immediately is if it’s a six stack. Also, they like to teabag. Lol

I won't hesitate to return to Oribit in certain situations. Being spawn trapped is one. Or if it's 9 to 50 in the 1st few mins and I'm 6 of those 9 kills. Certain maps I might leave too. Like Twilight Crap, Exodus Poo, Spawn Trapped Cauldron, Shot Gun Ape Anamoly. Usually it's a certain play style from the other side that makes me leave on those maps(seamless sliding Chaperone Headshots constantly, snipers who somehow tank flinch from crits and quickscope with ease, witherhoard spammers in every tight area). It's fun when it's an even match, but when it's not you might as well Orbit.
-
1 ReplyI don't leave matches I have decided to land in and play that I'm losing, because I am losing.. I do leave matches as I'm flying in once I can see the roster, if there is a large stack on one team, as I don't find that enjoyable, and as soon as I see one of 2 maps pop up I absolutely hate to play on, because we can not vote to choose maps or see what map it is until we are about to land. Sorry if I ruined you're enjoyment of the game.

6 RepliesI do it all the time. Constantly get loaded into games where the skill us very unbalanced.

Edited by Dagoth Ur: 4/29/2022 9:32:31 AMThe lobby balancing is absolutely terrible, all you kings keep quitting, maybe it will get through bungies head, I quit all the time, if my team is -blam!- and I match a 6 stack I’m out good luck fellas

1 ReplyI can usually tell within the first few minutes if the teams are balanced or not, if they're not balanced - they usually aren't - I don't waste any more time in that match. Hell, at this point, I only launch the crucible for the pinnacle ... I haven't enjoyed playing PvP in years. It's been so bad, for so long, and Bungie refuses to do anything because the streamers will just whine that they cant bully inferior players anymore.

4 RepliesBring on the penalties

Edited by Nova: 4/29/2022 1:49:36 PM3 games I played, 3 mercies. Top fragged and was the only one who went positive when we lost. Then we mercy the other team in the 3rd game. Great matchmaking bungo! 👍 https://destinytracker.com/destiny-2/pgcr/10662873359 https://destinytracker.com/destiny-2/pgcr/10662905613 https://destinytracker.com/destiny-2/pgcr/10662934134

1 ReplyThe only time I ever leave games is when it involves a 6 stack on a small map abusing the terrible spawn system for free kills. Losing a game normally is one thing. Losing a game because you are constantly being spawn trapped? No thanks.
-
I get a lot of people leaving the fireteam in freelance competitive ! P!ssed me off

1 ReplyEdited by Sohsuh: 4/29/2022 12:43:19 AMMaybe if Bungie fixed or removed the lobby balancing people wouldn't quit so much. Nobody wants to stay in a 1 sided match. Bungie has left this trash lobby balancing for so long it's unreal. I don't know any other FPS game with this problem. Some matches, sure, but Destiny is 8/10 games.
-
True. And to often they quit very early too
-
1 ReplyI'll admit that I leave matches at times. It is typically for two different reasons. Since I mostly play Elimination, an AFK player for a couple of rounds when facing a really tough team or some severe lag from an opponent really kills the chance of a fair fight. I will fight through matches under those conditions sometimes, but when I only have and hour or so to get on and consider the length of an entire match, I may choose to leave and try for a better lobby. I don't like leaving because I do like to see a match through. I will never leave if we are getting our butts kicked by a really good team because that type of match helps me to improve my game play.

I tend to think thrice before leaving.
