Venting about warlocks being screwed again.
So I never really used Nothing Manacles. I thought they were a gimmick in D1 and their return seems pointless now. So imagine my frustration upon seeing that once again bungie seems content to continue their crusade against warlocks and shaft the class again. When beyond light released Titans had icefall mantle, hunters masks of bakris. Warlocks though, we get a glorified bandaid exotic helm and thorn the gauntlets. For once id like to see a warlock exotic that isn’t niche, trash, or just a bandaid for something else.

6 RepliesWarlock main. We aren't shafted... At all. We have a role in almost any activity, In PvE we can Buff the teams damage survivability and reload speed, or plain DPS. In PVP we have several great options for supers, and with exotics like the stag we can heal or empower nearly every control point, or choke point we stand near. Notice how Hunters are only golden guns for raids, or titans are only bubbles (and now thundercrash) it's because Warlocks have the best spread, and our exotics build on that

Edited by firerwolf: 8/25/2021 8:35:19 PMNothing manacles were one of the best D1 exotics and are broken as hell. They’re an amazing exotic. In fact all of the warlock exotics you get from the lost sectors are great ones. They’re all useful and fun to use unlike half the ones for the other classes.

7 RepliesNot sure what you're moaning at. Nothing manacles are broken as hell. They can one hit kill with scatter grenades. You have 2 fully charge handheld supanovas. You're either trolling or clueless. I doubt you're trolling though because who still trolls in 2021?

Well they were top tier in d1, have you tried them yet now or are you just assuming it's trash? And nova warp just got buffed, I can confirm it feels really good. We got more buffs than nerfs. Top tree dawn just got a dash nerf, warlocks are not dead

Nothing manacles are the best exotic any class got this time around. Not only do they strengthen scatter grenade, a grenade rarely if ever used in this game, but it also gives you 2 of them. I don’t see why you think this is an issue

Contra verse hold grants armor while charging and almost always grants 50-75% on HIT. I saw a video and they aren’t impressive. Im not mad about nothing manacles, Ive seen too many post in the past of people wanting them back, now they can finally shut up. If the exotic sucks then so be it but at least I don’t have to hear these players wanting these exotics on the forums again

Nothing's in D1 were S tier, easily. They need the grenade energy on hit/kill for them to be S tier in D2, but for now we'll see how they work as is.

Warlocks don’t have it hard. Only in like PvP do they have the short end of the stick. Think I’m wrong? Then let me ask you this: In most cases, what class do people ask they have x amount of whenever you join a Raid team. [spoiler]Answer: Warlocks. Almost every time. It’s always, “How many warlocks are in here.” Or something along those lines. I think you can guess why that is.[/spoiler]
