When are we going to get them? Most Exotics just feel like a niche and it's even worse when they don't feel complete due to lack of a Catalyst.
Most Exotics that are missing a Catalyst are from Forsaken and the whole of Year 2.
I know they said they were looking at adding Kill Trackers and Orb Generation to Exotics with no Catalyst but that just sounds like a bandage, please give is more Catalysts more often if possible, would help out a ton.

imagine expecting things from this game still

5 RepliesI would love auto loading holster on Jotunn

7 RepliesI would just like a kill tracker and orb generation for thorn.. Malfeasance on the other hand needs some real love.

My most wanted catalyst is Monte Carlo. Extend the time markov chain is active and maybe increase range would be rad.

3 RepliesI just found out that laviathan bow has a catylst. It dropped for me recently. Apparently a random drop from killing yellow bars with the bow. I was using it to get a bow bounty done in 6 man activity and it popped up. Had no clue about it till I goggeled some info based on feedback from a clan me,ber. Posting this in case other were not aware of it.

All exotics need kill trackers and orb generation. Not all exotics need catalysts. People (and Bungie) have forgot why catalysts were even introduced. They were meant to give underperforming exotics a boost to up usage. People asking for catalysts for exotics that are already good sound ridiculous
-
They also say they would bring back the power of exotics. They say that every year and have since the seasons started for D2…. With a Season there’s simply too much for the game to keep up with so of course old exotics are no better than any world gear. Especially if you have the right relic mods equipped. Exotics don’t just need retuning. They need a complete work over. Prime Perfected for example. When it came out it was so so. And now, even with its exotic perk it does less dps than a world drop pulse that has mods and relic benefits. It doesn’t even do major or boss dps very well.

I'd rather saw that i got Legendary shards instead of exotic engrams, i have all there is (World drops) for my Titan, and most of the things that drops are bad stats anyway!

4 RepliesI just want Thorn and Last Word to get them even though they’re already good, every gun looks cooler with that yellow square outline!

Icarus on chaperone is all i want

8 RepliesIf they'll ever do it, it will be a while yet. If their track record since BL is anything to go by, only season pass, seasonal quest exotics, weapons obtained (bought) similar to NTTE, and like with BL up til now, one heavy weapon from before BL will get a catalyst. So the next weapon to get a catalyst will likely be one of the following: Queenbreaker Anarchy Xenophage 1K Voices Thunderlord Truth TTFox Unless the catalyst is a massive improvement like they did for Trinity Ghoul, they should focus more on popular/ older weapons. F'ing Malfeasance has had a catalyst in the database since BEFORE FORSAKEN WAS EVEN RELEASED! Unless it's moved to the special slot, everyone would rather have a catalyst for a weapon like Devil's Ruin than Queenbreaker.

1 ReplyRemember when over 2 years ago people datamined, like, 20 catalysts? They were barebones but they were something, at least. Now they release 5 catalysts per year for whatever reason. What a transition after activison split, huh.
-
They are playing the long taken. Releasing one per season.

5 RepliesEdited by Hawpy: 7/6/2021 11:43:13 AMIt would be nice to have some Exotics see an improvement, but a Catalyst only for the sake of having one is just as much of a bandage as kill trackers and orb generation. As we are all well aware, Anarchy is so good that it doesn't need a Catalyst. On the other hand, Skyburner's Oath is awful and its Catalyst does nothing to redeem it. When you say you want more Catalysts, it means you want more that are like Trinity Ghoul and Deathbringer - ones that completely revitalise the weapon - but there's still a chance that they'd end up like Leviathan's Breath or Vigilance Wing.

1 ReplyLet’s be real the majority of exotics nobody uses. Of all the things about destiny that need wrk your number one priority is make some of the best weapons slightly better? Sounds great on paper if you can’t see the whole picture.

2 RepliesPutting catalysts on exotic weapons was perhaps one of the worst ideas in this game, not all weapons require an additional advantage, it takes away the difficulty of the game
-
Don't worry. Next season you get a new catalyst to grind. 😂

4 RepliesEvery exotic should have a catalyst. EVERY weapon should have a kill counter.

4 RepliesNot all exotics need a catalyst.....

7 RepliesEdited by FL00FING AB0UT: 7/5/2021 9:19:37 PMThey said they’re going to continue using Catalysts to improve underused/underperforming Exotics and that we should expect them deployed in such a fashion moving forward.
