Season of the Splicer trailer looks sick
As soon as I think I’m done playing with d2 they hit me with it. Trailer looks dope and full of prophecy dungeon design and I’m down for it. I’m on the hype train Boiis

Bungie has always done a fantastic job at Trailers, the best as far as I'm concerned. I've learned to keep my expectations realistic in order to not be disappointed. I'm looking forward to the 6 man activity and repeatable story mission, both of which are game types that have had good content over the last year or so. Even though VOG is a recycled raid, it will be nice to have a second raid for Pinnacle reward sources. Outside of that, I'm not expecting too much. It will be good content from what I can tell, but I'm not expecting a Dungeon or anything major to progress in the story. Have I thought of some of the crazy possibilities, yes, but I don't even want to go into them because it gives false hope. Still worth the $10 from me though.

By sick do you mean anemic? Because I don’t see much here at all... A recycled raid, an untextured activity, a weekly re-run of the same map and a cut down season pass... Wow - can’t wait to see the loot pool...

1 ReplyIgnore the pessimism here, the raid is free for all those saying it’s bullshit, the sidearm will be forgotten within a week as kill clip freeze is not gonna be that strong, a normal sidearm would still kill you in seconds with kill clip, just the mentality that stasis is far too strong. Like i don’t go on these forums as the only people who use it are the 10 percent of the community who need an echo chamber to echo their thoughts on a game and push their beliefs on others when they have no right to. Any of the actual talented players I know for this game or those who aren’t toxic arseholes stay away from these forums as it’s no different to entering a flat earth group on Facebook.

2 RepliesIt’s all hype. The stasis sidearm will be broken in PvP and the armor looks like garbage from the pass. The only good looking thing from the trailer to me was the VoG bit which is just a D1 retool. They really need to step up the armor game for Titans they’ve been dog water for 2 seasons now.

I'm over these kinds of trailers. Movies do it to. Every game and every movie seems to use the exact same obligatory trailer soundtrack with the pounding drum sounds and the light military drums. Then the annoying music goes up high... aaaaaaaand DROP... release date screen. Every movie, every video game, every Hulu, Netflix and Amazon original movie. At this point I just roll my eyes at this template.
