AI is programmed to target you more if you have motes in gambit. Or in other scenarios, programmed to target the user that is the greatest threat, or getting the most kills when fighting the AI. The programming you are using is a shortcut to making the game more difficult. The AI treats the player in a way that is not natural. Knowing the statistics of the player and treating them as such is not circumstantial, and thus FEELS programmed. Which is an underwhelming theme when playing the game. To know that the computer programmed enemies will attack you in a way that is dependent on your stats for that particular game(i.e CPU kills or motes deposited) isn't something that is natural. If the AI attack you according to your stats, then it is no longer natural, or organic, but programmed. Making the game predictable, boring and frustrating. Your AI should interact with players based on the circumstances of the particular match. Not what their stats are during it....Fix it.

1 ReplyHuh a enemy fighting the biggest threat on the field? You say this is bad? Would you not say it is strategy? Let’s say your on the field in a war. You have a tank blasting your fortifications and they are flanked by armed personnel with machine guns. What would you focus on first? They small bullet flinging people, or the big heavy machine blasting holes in the fort. Now let’s put that into your scenario. You have a team of 4 people and one of which poses the bigger threat, which one you going to focus on, the one flossing in the corner?

If I was an acolyte and some dude is mowing down everyone around you best believe I'd charge up my fireball and dunk on just them specifically and expect my allies to follow my example.

1 ReplyNot true one bit.

What the actual -blam!- is wrong with this guy?

1 ReplyEdited by X-LoganX: 8/1/2020 10:18:15 PMLol. Kids these days have the oddest assumptions. Glad your not a developer. It is assumed and even corroborated in the lore that these enemies have any combination of hive mind and field command communications both technological and organic. They know who the greatest threat is or who has the most benifit from attacking. Your observations and assumptions on the AI needs some work. Seems simply like another reason to simply complain about something. In this case something you know nothing about.

The only thing that drives me nuts is.....ads wont be shooting me hell they are ignoring me and the second I shoot the invader?? Those assholes all start shooting me. So I'm trying to deal with the invader and taking damage from the ads...oh man how many times it has sent me into a mild rage mode.

Um it’s Artificial Intelligence it’s not natural by definition and design. I do feel your pain. It took me forever to get my Dregen title and gambit is not one of my preferred game modes. Gambit can be slightly less painful if you go in with a full 4 stack with mics.

I would love to see the source for that.

The protective light mod gives you 50% (I think) damage resistance when you enter critical health for a short time. When I did my solo flawless Prophecy I noticed that ads all of a sudden had aimbot as soon as my shields dropped, became much more aggressive and accurate, it seemed like their fire rate had increased too. Predictable and survivable, but obvious programming

To a T I agree
