Zombie Hawkmoon.

No. Luck.In.The.Chamber = NOT Hawkmoon. Please don't Bungie.....don't defile the memory of this beautiful bird. What's next? Gjallahorn without Wolfpack rounds? Just stop.

  • All they have to do is put holding Aces which have to 2 strong bullets and high impact reserves together which would guranteed 2 strong bullets that could be even stronger with the bottom half strong bullets. If they go back with old school hawkmoon than the only way to balance it is to put drop mag on it, cap the mag to 6, and put a subsistence on that can't be negated with handcannon reserves. My ideal variation of hawkmoon is holding aces with high impact reserves and a really consistent mulligan to add forgiveness.

  • Luck in the Chamber was what made the weapon fun to use in pve. It is what was absolutely broken in pvp though. Nice to see we won’t have a repeat on White Nail and High-caliber rounds on MIDA. Pointless to bring back a broken perk that got nerfed in D1 only to have it nerfed a second time. Insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome.

    • If I can't cross map a guardian at the start of a match with a godkiller bullet then its not hawkmoon. Im curious about what they plan on doing. But I am not happy.

Maybe you can argue here and there but its agreeable that most of these exotics were received positively by the community.             • Bungie will bring Hawkmoon back with 8 rounds in the magazine as a 110rpm without Luck in the Chamber and just have Holding Aces, but for it to work: You have to get a precision kill which will grant 2 extra damage bullets randomly within the mag upon your next reload. Hawkmoon will be likely an Exotic Quest, but possibly a world drop. The catalyst would bump up the magazine to 11 rounds and grant Luck in the Chamber, which you'd just have a random extra damage bullet in each mag. The catalyst will only be obtainable in the new Europa raid as a random drop from any encounter. It'll have an increased drop rate from the final boss. To progress the catalyst, you'll have to get kills with Hawkmoon which will be around 500 kills. As far as stats: Damage: 92 Range: 65 Stability: 34 Handling:35 Reload: 35 RPM: 110 AA: 75 Zoom: 20 Recoil direction (right): 75 Perks: Full Bore Hammer-forged rifling Pulse monitor Holding Aces Catalyst- Beneath the Silver Moon: adds three bullets to the magazine from 8 to 11 and grants Luck in the Chamber

              • If they’re willing to hand out “No Time to Explain” as bait for the next DLC, there’s no telling what they’d do next. I always thought it was cool that they gave the one and only No Time to Explain to that guy that was dying, at least that was what we were told. Now they’re making it just another gun.

                  • Its going to be luck in the chamber just not doing bonus damage, doing something different. You can't really have luck in the chamber deal bonus damage cause it feels like sh*t when you die to one bullet or two in D1 in gunfight losing just because of sheer dumb luck.

                  • I just don’t understand why they keep bringing back old exotics. The creativity in that studio must be at an all time low if they can’t even think of new things to create besides old rehashed stuff that doesn’t move the game forward in terms of innovation. My 3 year old niece could draw you multiple sets of armor and weapons with crayons and paper. They can’t even do it with all the fancy tech they have in the studio. Sheesh.

                        They said its not going to be exactly like the old hawkmoon but that it will still have some level of RNG. Its no different than bad juju, bad juju used to have a max stack of 3. The 5th stack we get with bad juju now is the exact same stack of 3 back in D1. So basically the gun was nerfed but it can still grant super energy faster than most guns. Im sure hawkmoon will be somewhat similar, it will have that random shot deal more damage but possibly not allow the one shots which is fine. The D2 hawkmoon will most likely end up being a one crit and one body whenever its perk activates

                        • They’ll just make it have 3-4 high damage rounds, and then a different perk. Hopefully it’ll be good like what they did to ace and thorn.
