I don't know. It's kind of Bungies fault. That's why people that use cheeses don't get banned. Bungie doesn't mind if people abuse cheeses because it's their fault. If they do mind, they fix the cheese. People tend to choose the easiest path. I didn't use the forge farm, didn't raid and I still got 1051 drops at the end of week one.

You say forge farmers ruined the experience for other players and some did and im all for punishing them BUT what about those who set their light way below 750? That made you only match other people that were below light so you didn’t hurt anyone. That’s what I did would you still ban me?

Afk forge farming has been fixed since june 18th. No need to cry a river now. But those who didn't drop their light level severely are jerks don't get me wrong. When I did this, I dropped myself to be around under 400 to make sure I didn't mess up people actually trying to get the forge done. It was cheesy and I agree, but there are worse problems in the game than this. Afk forge farming is a message to bungie, they need to stop increasing the power recommendation each season just to play the content we were already playing. It makes it a chore just to play the new content like the dungeon. There are actual cheaters and hackers ruining others experiences. although forge farming is cheesy like I said, this isn't either of those. Its bungies own fault for giving engrams even if you fail the forge. This game has had so many issues with bugs since the start of last season. They just need to crack down on this. Telling others to uninstall the game is childish. Sorry, but you don't control them. It's just reality. Sorry everything isn't perfect for you entitled brat.

Seems a bit extreme. As my character levels show I didn't farm but for those who don't have much time for playing I can see why they would have made use of it while available. What does it really matter to those who didn't how someone else levelled up. It does give me a warm feeling when I see 1059s or something in the tower to think "is it genuine or were they helped along a bit?"

4 RepliesI wasnt expecting to get carried cause if people actually listened that you had to be under 750 light and youll get paired with people that are doing the same thing and plus hacking doesnt have anything to do with it its people that actually have a life that dont have time to play the game but they also want to experience new content so i see why some people resorted to that. I personally dont why people are complaining this much over a simple thing it wouldnt be the first time an AFK forge was a thing.
