I mean. Look at CS:GO. It's free to play and infested with cheaters. Not much they really can do lol. They can implement a cheat detection system but good cheats will always bypass that. They could implement light level requirements and the overwatch system from CS:GO on top of an anti cheat but even then people would squeak through the cracks. Console cheaters just dos attack people. You barely run into them. From D1 to now i've ran into 6 legit booters who sat in the back of the map kicking us 1 by 1 lol.

Trials will be a joke on all platforms. DOS and other IP shenanigans will be the norm as it's far easier to grab people IP address in D2 than D1 ever was. Let's not forget Bungle is stuck in the 2008ish Halo era Peer to Peer networking is fine thinking.

I would like to talk about cheating the problem is not just on PC I did a bit of looking in to cheating on Destiny 2 and there is DVDs that you put on your Xbox PS4 and it lets you have any cheats that a cheater has on PC no difference at all. I have reported a few cheats on steam and it ranges from the fact of PVP in crucible I would say anyone player getting over 30 kills on his own is a cheat no its not that bad players are on the other team its pure cheating. I my self have only got max 24 kills in crucible to my self and I had to pull that out of my ass to get that and I have not matched that since ever this is what a none cheating pc player who works hard and grinds stats I get. I want to point out that I have seen cheating in Nightfall a player with dawnblade I think attunement of flame used his super in a NF match that I was taking part in. the first time this player used his special for around 2 minutes continuous and the second time I did time and 2 minutes and 34 seconds continuous and in both of these super used times there was 30 or 40 seconds where there was no enemies left to kill yet his special continued for 30 or 40 seconds with no kill before he made a kill with his special again. Now my experience with dawnblade is after about 5 seconds or so with no kills my dawnblade special ends this is what happens with none cheating normal players use specials. More times when cheating has been blatant I was playing as titan with fire axe when a player hits me with fire axe one clean hit I die but I have been up against players when I have hit them twice with fire as spot on could not have hit them more perfect and it did not kill them and a player on my team in crucible had to head snipe him after my two axe hits and the player killing me to put them down. There was a time where I did the same thing 2 fire axe hits perfect and to players had to finish the player off with auto fire 3 seconds from 2 players after my 2 hits of fire axe and I think they was hitting that player during my 2 axe hits with weapon fire. In Gambit I have been playing for 70% of a match my team in the lead and I was kicked from the game Baboon Ddos by a player on the other team this has happened quite a few times being kicked from a game due to Ddos cheats. They say the APEX has 50,000 cheats at anytime since Destiny 2 has moved to steam I would say its has double the cheats of APEX easy. In the end the truth is I like Destiny 2 as a game but I think at when my next year pass is due in October I do not think I will renew at this time because of cheats and bungie not doing much to solve this. I find this very disheartening to know that a non cheating player me that grinds away at the game puts a lot of time in and bungie is letting these cheats prosper. They say cheats never prosper well in destiny 2 if it be PC or console cheating bungie lets them prosper.

I can't wait for all the youtubers to start crying about the crutch weapon users and hackers messing up their flawless runs. I can see it already. Nerf this gun nerf that gun nerf this exotic nerf that super. If you think the toxicity is bad now you haven't seen nothin yet. The toxicity is about to be cranked up to 11 next season and I'm going to be making lots of popcorn. Lol

I've stopped playing PvP in general because I just don't need cheaters and inapt kids make an idiot out of me. I used to play Trials in D1 and it was fun. I was always good in PvP. Not the best but certainly not a potato. I did flawless in Trials in D1 and had usually 30+/40ish kills on every game or every other game. But since new light and everyone playing it's completely out of control. There is no solution for cheating on PC. It will always be there. Today it's so rampant in PvP in Destiny 2 (especially Classic Mix and Comp) that it's simply not worth it. I get two tapped to the head, seen behind walls all the time even when not hunter and no they are not using Wish Ender. There are at least a couple of cheaters in almost every game. It's completely of control. They can balance weapons as much as they want, until they stop allowing New Light players into PvP or at least matching them with other players (new light should match with new light) and they certainly shouldn't have access to Trials. You can never stop cheating when the accounts are free to create.

Most cheaters now days do network manupliation to create empty lobbys. Most ddos and cheating tools are picked up by their anti cheating program. They seem to have no way though to find the people that are creating empty lobbys though. TILL NOW! I have suggested this twice now in the past week and its how I have found a few cheaters for hire. Bungie just needs to collect the pvp data for players that go zero kills, zero assists, zero damage with a multi win streak under these conditions. Its super easy and will catch lot of cheaters. But it would require them to do something and we know how lazy they are.

I just made a post about this and it got locked because of name and shame, even though I didnt explicitly name anyone I just linked clips to provide examples which I thought would be fine. But nope bungie just wants to watch their game burn.

PC master race

There are plenty of cheaters on console also. There just seem to be more cheats you can use on PC. Even without the cheats it still isn't a great game mode. It is ok at best but nowhere near what it should or could be if BUngie actually cared and spent the time to make it great by using actual servers and banning cheaters along with many other things. But apparently their job is too hard.

I have a $5500 gaming and workstation PC on the way from the factory, and the cheating is one of the main things holding me back from cross saving and playing on PC. I know the experience is mostly Better than console, etc., but I don't want to get 5 or 6 wins deep and then get DDoSed all the time. It was bad enough in D1.
