Veggie:Not sure. He just said there were some of the most dangerous things in the galaxy in here. All the dead things come here. And sometimes he said, he brings them back to life and locks them in here.
Holmes steps out of a little bag that suddenly appeared*
Holmes:Afternoon Gents. And our respected vegetable.
Veggie:Hey Holmes. Why are you here?
Holmes:Crowley wanted to make an alliance with Offtopic and let us send our high security prisoners here. He said...what did he say. “It’s not like they could live by themself down here?” Something about getting incinerated as soon as they stepped out of the prison. It seems to be in a force storm. Or something like that thing around the Sith Home planet. Crazy stuff. It seems that if you go up far enough in the prison you rise up. Or if you throw a rock up far enough.
Veggie:Sounds weird enough. Let’s pop this thing open.
Lee:Does anyone have the key to pop it open?
Orion-13 walks out of a orange portal*
Orion-13:I do.
Veggie:And who might you be?
Orion-13:I am Orion-13. I have the key.
He walks over to the single keyhole and withdraws a extremely complicated and intricate red obsidian key and opens it*
The group walks in with weapons drawn*
Veggie steps on what looks to be a root of something but then the [i]Root[/i] grabs him and turns him into a cocoon of vines!
Veggie:[b][u]VISCUS!!![/u][/b]
This is where the group starts.
And clarification. The Maelstrom around the prison is indestructible, unexploitable, and if you go in it you are locked in a dark room. Thanks for the idea Atlas. And it’s a choice. Have fun with The Dragon if you want that.

[/quote] I would like to clarify that the “Maelstrom” is actually quite destroy-able, exploitable, and escape-able. I have done so myself. A good DM would have thought up better mechanics rather than pathetic “because-I-said-so’s”. Also, by its very nature, all environments should be exploitable. A rock on the ground should be able to be picked up. Come on, OP, that is just basic writing, and DMing. Now be a good little DM and understand that this all is supposed to be collaborative fun.

There is nothing wrong with exploiting the setting, unless the DM is not skilled or imaginative enough to improvise or roll with it.
