Auto dismantle blue gear
Please, I'm so tired of deleteing blue crap or having stuff I want go to the post master because blue crap in my inventory.

A toggle would be the cats ass. Need to level up? Toggle auto dismantle rare engrams off. Playing crucible or strikes? Toggle that on. It can't be that hard but, what do I know, I'm not a programmer.

Yeah getting 3 to 5 blue drops after every banner match is obnoxious. If you're not at the cap, sure keep a blue piece if it's higher than your highest piece in that particular slot. But come on, it's quite annoying clearing out blues way lower than everything else in your inventory.

1 ReplyAt this rate, can we just expand the amount of space in our Postmaster? 20 items is a little small for the amount of things you're gonna be doing before flying back to the Tower. I make two stops on a regular day, one before heading, and one when I come back before getting off for the day.

As an option where you can select the power level to start auto-dismantling. Like 'Dismantle blues under XXX power level'. Many players right now would like to keep 960 blues for infusion but dismantle everything under that. Also in the future when the power level is increased and you start getting higher blues, you wouldn't have to remember to turn it off to keep from having them auto-dismantled. If you are one who doesn't care about blues at all, then set it to some huge number and forget about it.

Theres only 2 things I have to do while traveling from orbit to tower another location and thats dismantle shit or mess with forum dwellers and you want to take that away. Fine but your not going to like the result

Maybe just maybe Blue weaponry should feel important, lessen the stress ....maybe even rank/level them up ....become a weapon master (of Auto Rifles/HandCannons/Sidearms etc) So that Legendary gear can move up a rank (and the ability to carry on the ‘Weapon Mastery’ - be curated, be bloody special enough to only be replaced by.... Exotics, which should be bumped up to the place they deserve The “Holy Fvck, I’ve just gained an Exotic HC/Sword, complete with mad perks!”

6 RepliesI had fun before CoO dropped getting max light blues. It was amusing killing people in crucible with a 300 Cuboid, 300 Madrugada, 300 Cupbearer. I was bored enough to run Leviathan with a load out of Trax Lysis, Coldheart, Cupbearer...all max light. The Coldheart was helpful for skulls and DPS on Calus so had to stay in the arsenal. For dogs, Cupbearer was changed to Rest for the Wicked. There were plenty of blues that were actually good for PvE and PvP content that could be max light. And the chase for those weapons became my thing to do in Y1. So I disagree with the auto-dismantle idea even if you can't roll max light blues anymore. I do get a touch nostalgic when thinking of my chase when I get a 960 Sand Wasp.

I am beyond irritated in how often I’m deleting crap mid run to keep post master clear. Bungie you had it in Destiny. Same darn engine is Destiny 2. Turn that feature back on.

I farmed a lot of PVP yesterday and did the PVP ritual weapon, overall I probably deleted a few hundred blue items and it wasn't something I paticuarly enjoyed doing. EDIT - also, I'm pretty sure this was a thing in Destiny, so it's not even like they could say it would take a lot time to develop how to do it.

1 ReplyNo, but only because something is bugged with the Hunter arms "War Mantis" where the stats only seem to go in resilience, mobility, and recovery. I want a better stat roll with more resilience.

I'd like an option you can switch on, like you play for ages to get that one gun you want, finally get it for it to go straight to the postmaster because there's some blue crap filling up the inventory. I don't really want to constantly be deleting this stuff out during loading screens since then i want to be checking bounties or baking dawning cookies instead..
