I personally don't think we should get rid of pinnacle weapons because it gives competitive players a reason to grind competitive. i honestly don't see the reason for grinding for ritual weapons compared to other weapons available. Pinnacle weapons should be weapons that take skill to use to the fullest. If its the issue of breaking the game make it so that it cant break the game, recluse is still busted in pvp and solid in pve, and if it stays that way then i dont see a reason why pinnacle weapons that take skill to use wouldnt be out of the question. Ill throw put an idea for a pvp pinnacle sniper (very different from revoker in terms of how it effects gamplay) 60 rpm, agressive frame, low zoom, bolt action kinetic slot. Other than that functions like a normal sniper. Getting a headshot kill loads a extra bullet with higher damage but lower velocity. (Meaning at medium-long range you have to lead your target) while it can body shot it rewards precision and cant chain easy kill to easy kill without aiming for the head and even if you get an easy kill off of an afk, you still have to lead your target because of the low velocity.

For PvE I'm all for it, PvP not so much, can't be bothered to sift through grown men crying about PvP pinnacles for another year on the forum/Reddit eveveryday, it's embarrassing.

I would like them to add some sick ornaments to legend rank. I don’t think pinnacles have been an overall net benefit for the game.

1 ReplyThey took them out because the issue with them were people were going into said activity and not caring about the match just their quest so they won't bring them back.

1 ReplyToo many cry babies cried about them.

3 RepliesThey were too strong. That’s why the pvp pinnacles are the meta in pve. The ritual weapons are much better.

16 RepliesEdited by DeZevil: 11/12/2019 2:08:12 PMPinnacle weapons are the main source of balance issues in the game so no, I don't wanna see more of them. Their first priority should be to adjust the existing broken ones (mainly Not Forgotten and Recluse) before adding more of them.

Make Pinnacle Weapons Great Again

Edited by Muka Gatals: 11/12/2019 6:55:56 PMSure as long as they put Use limit on PVP. Could be per season. Example 5000 PVP kills per season. So the High skilled PVP players will get it in 2 days...then they have fun pub stomp PVP until they have 5000 kills. Average players will get it in 2 months..the may get it in 1 month..but because get stomped by those high skilled user with OP weapons..they have to work harder. After 2 months...the average players will have fun stomping those High Skilled players. They can use it until have 5000 PVP kills. Every one happy. The Pinnacle weapons will never need to be nerfed. We can have fun in PVE. All win win situation. Last seasons system only cater High Skilled players. They had fun using it before it get nerfed. When average players get the Weapons...it already get nerfed and useless. LH is not the same LH when those High Skilled players got it months ago. With limit use in PVP...everyone have chance to have fun with OP weapons. The different..the High skilled will get it faster and easier than average players.

I agree. We sadly my never see pinnacles as we've come to know however with fingers cross and hopeful we may see something similar with the return of trials or a trials like tournament. All speculation so take this with a brain salt but I agree nonetheless. With the current comp system pinnacles are now more accessible so there is no point in discontinuing them due to exclusion. Just make unique perks that aren't game breaking like revoker, wendigo, breakneck, and oxygen. Most perks were just piggyback perks that relied on what tje gun did anyway.

No pinnacle weapons. Luna/NF got their fair nerfs along with all handcannons, and I believe mountaintop and recluse are a plague on pc with recluse on console as well
