This is difficult to explain but here it goes...
Back in year 1 D2, I played on my main account on PS4. After the endgame was achieved, I purchased D2 for XBOX One and developed 3 characters on that platform. Once Cross Save came along, I linked my main account (PS4) to Battlenet and XBOX One so I could join friends on all platforms with my main account.
Now I'm trying to dig up my "original" XBOX One D2 account so I can link it to my son's Steam account. This is proving to be an impossible task because if I do any authenticating or de-authenticating of my main account(s) there's that silly 90 day waiting period to re-authenticate. Thanks Silver!!!!
How do I find my original XBOX One D2 account that seems to have disappeared into thin air?? Any help is greatly appreciated!

4 RepliesIf you have your Xbox account linked with your other accounts for cross-save already, then you would need to deactivate cross-save, and unlink the account from your profile. Then you could link that Xbox account to your son’s Bungie profile, and use it for cross-save with his accounts. While your Xbox account is linked, with your PS4 account as primary, you cannot access your Xbox save data. Non-primary account data is made dormant, and inaccessible. Deactivating cross-save will incur a 90 day cooldown period before you can reactivate. If you purchased silver on any of your accounts in the past 90 days, then you will be required to wait 90 days from the date of the silver purchase before you can deactivate, followed by the 90 day cooldown period for reactivation.
