Sunshot is fantastic now.
With telesto being disabled I went back to old school weapons, firstly graviton lance, which I finished the catalyst on by just grinding the moon mission a few times. Then I got sunshot out and boy was I surprised with how good it was. 12 rounds with enhanced handcannon loader just wrecks. If you haven't tried it yet, go grab one from collections.
Good job bungie. Credit where credit is due.

So if you’d like a really fun spec & combo to run give this a whirl you won’t be disappointed. I’m gunna give sunshot a try but it’s hard to stay away from me new pride n joy Monte Carlo 🤩 Now I’ve seen this I’m gonna grab my sun shot & give it a run. Happy Halloween harvesting guardians

Why you tell bungie and everyone here? Now everybody will use it..everyone are having fun..then bungie will nerf it...! No fun for you...its forbidden to have fun in destiny. Just like gjallarhorn ..they just nerf it..and become 0.004% better than legendary gun.

2 RepliesSmall tip Sunshot is nearly stat for stat identical to NF but.. thanks to it's inherit explosive rounds it technical has more range. Sunshot (heck most the 150s) feel incredibly good now on console.

2 RepliesDuring this last weekend I've literally threw away my KD completing the Randy's and the Revoker's Quests. The first, trying to get the "Cold Fusion" Medals, the second, trying to be good with Snipers (I suck sniping in the Crucible). Only positive thing, I've casually discovered that I find myself pretty good with the Malfeasance Hand-Cannon. That thing is literally a sword, recoil is inexistent. While I was playing, I found myself against many people using the Sunshot. I was impressed, but it seems really pretty good now. I'm gonna trying it as soon as possible.

Yep all it ever needed was a bigger Mag. I'm at nearly 5000 kills with mine and use it every day. Mob clearing madness with the masterwork catalyst done

Got the catalyst and literally 24 hours later it already has 2.4k kills. Best gun

I loved this gun for two years now. A lot of relaxing fun in a strike with solar burn. 👍🤓

It's not fun on ps4 for me, frame drop makes it annoying to play with. Although the time I spent with it to do the catalyst was the most fun I had in a while.

3 RepliesAll three of those faction guns are awesome now. Well riskrunner was always a top tier gun but now it's even better. Graviton lance it's awesome now and yes sunshot is awesome now too.

3 RepliesI"ve really been enjoying Sunshot lately for ad clearing! I finally finished the catalyst. Did they up the ammo capacity? It's been so long since I've used it, I don't remember it being at 12 rounds, maybe i'm crazy. It's been fun using it again.

1 ReplyNever forget the Graviton Lance meta. The meta where teamshotting was both effective and a multi-kill death sentence. The meta that bred so many sweaty warriors, in pursuit of the first fabled weapon. ...But yeah, Sunshot is a really good 150 RPM HC.

I get more out of the changes to the recoil. Sunshot basically used to slap you in the face every time you fired it even with the catalyst. Much better now.
