Gambit Prime Sucks
Literally the worst game mode in Destiny history. That is all.

Gambit prime is miles better than normal gambit.

That is all.[/quote] Gambit and Prime have been made worse by the change in blockers - yes phalanx shields were annoying but not once did I read anyone asking for blockers to be changed! We now have a medium and large blockers that blink worse than I have seen, are nothing but bullet sponges unless I use Jotunn - I don’t want to be made to feel that I have to use a certain weapon in order to be effective against blockers. Bungie makes small changes that aren’t needed yet makes game worse rather than make big chances that are needed to improve the game.

2 RepliesI like Gambit, when the team knows how to play. Just like all other activities that involve a fireteam. If the mates are numbskulls and dunces, that detracts, but when they're smart it enhances. I've had some matches where the back and forth is awesome. Other times, slitting my wrists is considered an option.

8 RepliesI quit playing March 9th because of this crap. I didn't like forge, I don't like Gambit and I refuse to grind 8+ month old content (i.e. Strikes, Crucible Maps, Adventures, Campaign and Patrols) just to level up so I can play more Gambit Prime content. I also feel ripped off with the Season pass so far, as I paid $60 CDN for about $5 worth of content.

In my opinion it is made that way by the players who "do it for an engram". They don't care about it and ruin everyones experience.

I love it as a concept. Unfortunately the maps do not work. Deep six is an abomination and the normal gambit maps work about as well as the crucible maps that are obviously designed for 4v4. There is only 1 good map and I am not willing to play through the horrible ones for a chance at getting it.

I like it. It’s faster, there’s a specific role you play, and (at least with full invader set) it makes Bubble relevant

No Gambit is terrible. GP is something I can actually bear to play for a bit....ever more so than PvP at the moment. just imo.
