The game is crap and you need some feedback? Bring in some regular players, people with tons of hours played and ask them for feedback. The streamers don’t have a clue what the other 99% think, trust me on this one.
Update: thanks for all the feedback! Good and bad it all helps! Keep upvoting let’s see if anyone actually answers.

If you look In DMGs activity on here (you're at the bottom of the list cause it can only go so far) DMG liked your post. They're listening or just randomly liking post
-
That's exactly what they do. Shackle and iihavetoes from math class are there. Shackle isn't really a streamer and toes aswell

3 RepliesBungie listens to everyone’s feedback, but I would guess they listen to streamers more because they actually have constructive feedback to give rather than the overwhelming amount of toxic spewing, salt inducing, shotgun crutching babies that pollute these forums on a daily basis. They’re only giving feedback because the game is their only source of income!!! There’s some truth to that, but a couple of streamers (specifically Datto and Patrick Casey) have gone on record saying that they care a lot about this franchise and have either made an attempt to work for Bungie or have actually worked there temporarily after CoO’s launch to play test and give feedback to Bungie personally while Forsaken was still in Alpha. Note that Patrick Casey actually played the Last Wish raid before World’s First was even allowed to be attempted by everyone and in turn was not allowed to attempt it because he knew the entire raid layout, meaning he couldn’t have covered it as a streamer for that sweet streamer cash because of Bungie’s NDA tied to him. Streamers are the reason why I’m being ignored!!! No, they are not. Your 15,000th post with a title saying “Remove Enhancement Cores” with a body topic that just says “title says all” is the reason you are being ignored because Bungie has nothing to go off of that other than, “This player is mad because of a sort of rare infusion material” and have no idea of how to resolve the problem because you didn’t give any constructive feedback.

They don't even need to fly people to Bellevue. They just need to do MARKET RESEARCH like other companies....rather than just staring at in-game data. In game data tells you WHAT happens...but usually doesn't tell you WHY it happens. Which is why Bungie is always under-reacting or over-reacting. Because they GUESS at what it is we want, rather than just simply ASKING US.

1 ReplyHow bout an in game voting station in the tower? There could be a sort of weekly poll for feedback on changes and stuff.
-
1 ReplyEverything is in the forum. All the answers. They should just play the game... er... I mean read the forum.
-
2 RepliesActually they did invite non streamers.... sooo yeah...
-
Ya. I only played 5,500 hours in D1 and 3,500 hours in D2 with 60K Triumph score, so what would I know about fixing things? Like not shipping buggy broken crap at launch (30+ year Hardware Software Developer here - you inadequately tested this before release and dragged your feet on fixing it), ignoring what people ask for in the forums and copy-pasting over and over "We are listening" or "I'll pass that along to the Developers", expecting us to grind 6+ month old boring content to level up so we can play the limited "newer" content, no advancement of the Story Line since Forsaken dropped, unwarranted and unnecessary nerfing of weapons because you can't design Boss mechanics (ie. standing in a a glowly circle to do boss damage - so we need to nerf Whisper or Machine Guns) etc. etc. etc. That's off the top of my head for fixes. But I don't stream so I'm personae non grata and nothing more than an easy $60 CDN for this season pass to Bungie. Apparently, the only way Bungie will listen is when we stop playing - which I did Saturday afternoon. Done with you Bungie and you get no more money from me. There are better games than this with better more responsible developers out there.

5 RepliesNon streamer: DESTINY IS BAD! Bungie: Ok, why? Non streamer: BECAUSE ITS BAD FIX IT BUNGIE! Bungie: How do we fix it? Non streamer: DESTINY SUCKS IM LEAVING
-
1 Replythat's what feedback provides them. why search for unknown scrubs to seek their opinion when it is so readily shared via the internet?
-
I’d like to see people who had a lot of hours in d1 and not so many in d2, as well as people who don’t play much in general. I’d rather have the people who don’t play brought in because I would want bungie to know why they don’t play, and what could be done to make them start playing more. People who already play a lot wouldn’t be very good for deciding how to make the game better because they already enjoy it enough to play it a lot.

6 RepliesStreamers are still players, who just happen to show their gameplay. This whole anti-content creator attitude is one of the strangest things
-
Justvsaw on Twitter that gladd has been invited to the "community" summit for the season already. Like he represents the community.
-
1 Replytrue but bungie ain't going listen that's why i solo what i can and refuse to join a clan
-
7 RepliesA poll type email would suffice. Easy feedback.
-
All they do is crap on Bungie for 70% of the time, THEN provide proper feedback
-
Another streamer summit being talked about on twitter. Remember how the first one was talked about, openly. How come the last couple have been so quiet. Anyway, speak with your time and remember to let bungie know what you want here, reddit, and twitter. Tweet the devs, tween dmg, let them all know.

Edited by The Outlaw Torn: 3/12/2019 2:15:02 AMYou mean the vast majority of the the player base lol? I'm tired of this game being catered to no-lifers that play 24/7. Why do you think 11 million players abandoned the game after launch? They're tired of together elitist BS.
-
18 RepliesI can't stand gladd and his elitist bs ilk. The whole streamers situation is downright disgusting. Someone sitting on his pC 24/7 doesnt define an average player. We have jobs, and wives and kids and lives and we pay taxes dammit.
-
Did you say ... non streamers? What even are those? After all, scientific evidence points to the fact that apparently the only people who play Destiny 2 live and breath the game. That's just facts, otherwise the game wouldn't be anywhere close to where it is now.

Edited by michael: 3/11/2019 11:52:22 AM
Trust me on this one.
lol, no. players with tons of hours and streamers are the same people, one of them just streams their gameplay. i’m no streamer pipe rider, i hardly watch destiny streamers. I pop in once in a while to hear their opinion on something but I’ll never sit and watch/listen to one for more than 10 minutes. The only one i’m subbed so is slayerage and he doesn’t even play anymore. However, the hate the streamers get from the community is incredibly weird in my opinion. People act like streamers are these hell-sent deities with the intent to do nothing but kill the game, but they are pretty much the same as any other hardcore player. Literally the only difference is that streamers hit start broadcasting on OBS before they sit down to play. The only streamer opinion i have had a strict objection towards is cammycakes saying that he liked the dual primary system better because it makes the game more competitive, when i think everyone else on earth has accepted that this game will never be competitive. But other than that, i’ve never heard a streamer say something that i have disagreed with more than anything else that one of my friends or someone on here has suggested. In fact, i have seen much more ridiculous takes on stuff in the game in my years on the forum than i have from twitch streamers.
-
2 RepliesThe general public isn't really a good metric for what this game needs. Most of you are morons, myself included. I'd prefer someone who understands the game and is a voice to more than just his or herself
-
Edited by noproblem: 3/11/2019 8:01:28 PMYes, but they wont. I think im on PC in the top 50 playd crucible matches (competetive+qp) and i really take the game serios and think about the patches/changes every time. I test everything in private, every bug, every range, every hitbox, every hidden buff. i check constistently team mates/enemies - where are they from, how they play. I test connection issues, try to solve them. Every single patch i know the first hours what is going on, what is too OP, what is nerfed too hard. What will change (they changed everything ill bet for, also if it takes years that they react) Still, it doesnt mean they listen.
-
5 Repliesumm streamers and players with tons of hours played are the same, just one gets paid to do it
-
7 RepliesI disagree with you here. Tuesday I was watching one of my favorite streamers and there was 25k subscribers waiting to download the new season. I think the people in these forums only make up about 10% or so of the community. That's a wild guess. I'm just comparing 1 stream with 25k subs of happy Destiny 2 playera to these forums of maybe 1000 or so unhappy players. Of course Bungie would listen to the larger group of the community. That's just my opinion though. I'm completely satisfied with the game just like it is.

HAHAHA never gonna happen, I feel at times they don't even play the game
