Is it just me or do snipers have terrible flinch in this game? In D1 snipers always were prominent in the meta, but in D2 snipers have always been non meta. Should bungie lower the flinch on snipers?

It’s not the flinch it’s the scopes short zoom feel like medium zoom and the crosshairs are so see though and crystal clear you could lose track of it easily

15 RepliesIf snipers get buffed its gonna make people who are already good with them gods. And you definitely dont want that. Snipers are already in a state where people who are good with them can demolish teams.

3 Repliessnipers need more ammo. 4 bullets starting out would be nice or even at least 3
-
I think making the flinch consistent would actually do a lot to help snipers, since you'd know where your reticle would end up and could account for it.
-
It's the flinch that's the problem. If I'm across the map and a guy is hitting me with half a Bygones bullet, my screen shouldn't flinch 175 degrees to the right. It's nonsensical.

2 RepliesEdited by Boricua: 12/5/2018 6:58:50 AMAs a consistent sniper user (Look me up GT: WBD AWESOME GUY) I feel the only thing I would want is a slight reduce to flinch especially againts full auto weapons. Other than that maybe spawn with 3 bullets instead of 2.

1 ReplyBest thing about D2 Crucible is the lack of 4-5 players on every team, every map, every mode running a sniper. So much more fun.
-
2 RepliesI think snipers are in the perfect position to require actual skill to use.
-
Its because snipers used to have really high aim assist
-
5 RepliesNah , they're perfect. If they become meta it'll slow crucible down to a crawl

I want to say Yes Lower The Flinch but then we'll end up with issues like No Land Beyond from D1 because Bungie has a track record of tipping the scale too far.
-
They have terrible flinch but they're still fun to use for me. It's satisfying to shut someone out of their super with a shot to the head.
-
3 RepliesVery necessary to balance the game. There isnt even scope sway so i already think that snipers are too strong (on PC at least)
-
9 RepliesIf you want less flinch equip a piece with unflinching sniper aim or unflinching rifle class aim. Set your character up properly. Not trying to be a dick lol.
-
snipers are fantastic as is.
-
7 RepliesOr just body shot kill with the new exotic sniper.
-
A slight buff would be nice for pve but buffing them too much will make them op

9 RepliesEdited by Jericho_Wolf99: 12/4/2018 8:35:43 PMNo screw snipers. They need to stay as is. If your being shot by someone that doesn't mean pick then off right before you die because your weapon doesn't flinch. Leave it alone. Also put snipers, shotguns, and fusion rifles back in the heavy slot. Tired of not having more choice for my heavy and those weapons taking up a more promaninate weapon slot.

2 RepliesNope. I play just fine with snipers and flinch is bad but I still pull headshots off. It’s a question of skill. Not just mechanical but also knowing how to position yourself and knowing when to challenge or when not to challenge. I usually average 30+ guardian defeats per game while sniping

2 RepliesFlinch on anything thats not a handcannon or shotgun is horrible, As it stands most archetypes deal way to much flinch
makes me feel like my arms are just noodles
-
1 ReplyYes the flinch needs to be reduced a little. The overall base handling on all snipers needs to be improved as well. Faster draw time faster ADS etc. Also some better scopes like shortgaze and ambush. A lot of the scopes right now are ugly, clunky, or too busy.
-
4 RepliesSnipers need a small reduction in flinch, lower zoom scopes, and a HUGE handling buff.
-
17 RepliesThat and they just don’t feel as crisp. Idk as a person who never put the sniper down in D1 sniping just feels off in this game. Think I miss the good old scopes like Longview SLR10 and Shortgaze
-
8 RepliesI want No Land Beyond

1 ReplyEdited by pocix: 12/4/2018 7:40:46 PMsniper user will say : YES! shotgun apes will say : NO biased. for me, YES. You can see how many shotgun vs sniper in percentage. 80% vs 20%. SNiper need a buff. Reduced sniper flinch, lower zoom, OHK headshot supers.
