The only class good for pvp is the hunter. Mostly all of the exotic equipment support them for pvp but warlock or Titan don’t have any. Pvp needs to be balanced not easy for a On class. And medium to hard for the rest.
-
And all these hunters playing still think they have no advantage but just look at mayhem. Clearly shows who has the advantage.
-
1 ReplyLol. I main a hunter but my KD is higher on Warlock/Titan. Striker Titan is probably the easiest class to use in Crucible. Warlocks have Ophidians which are a top-tier PvP exotic. All classes have their strengths and weaknesses, and you can’t play them all the same.
-
10 RepliesClasses are not balanced at all. The fact that most people choose hunters is proof enough.

12 RepliesEdited by Pig Farmer: 5/26/2018 4:21:03 PMTHIS☝🏼. I was playing Iron Banner and a Hunter was using arcstrider so I hid behind a wall and I jumped then I used my storm caller on my Warlock WITH landslide on top of the Hunter then shock him and only halved of his armor was gone while he killed me with one swipe, Are You F..king kidding me!!! I had all of my armor and health and master work armor. Really?!!! Arcstrider is too OP, Warlocks supers need a buff, I should be able to kill and survive an arcstrider with my Warlock and landslide.

PvP has already ruined this game. Stop trying to make it worse.

39 RepliesEdited by YATM: 5/24/2018 3:10:23 PMHunter: The only class without a "Oh shit! I'm beaten... but wait! I have this (fist of panic/prayer bomb). Nor do they have the ability to melee kill and get their health back. But yeah, it's so OP. As someone that plays all three classes I am really sick of this whining about hunters. In the right hands, Warlocks and Titans are deadly. Fist of Panic and Prayer Bomb can stop any super in its tracks. Arc Strider is the only Hunter super that even comes close. The animation on Golden Gun is too slow to be used in the same way. The Hunter's abilities are more situational and require some skill to properly utilize, which is why so many skilled players gravitate to them. While many great players main Warlocks and Titans, they are also the easiest classes to use if you are low skill.

For me I think titans have bad hit box detection or very high health atleast. Are they glitches or something
-
This is very true though, especially with the whole exotic armor thing. I find pvp on hunter to be much easier and safer because of it than the other classes. Hopefully the new changes to exotic armor will help some of the other classes as much as they already do hunters.
-
4 RepliesCurious, you seem to not have played Hunter at all... You have summoned me.
-
You just need to play more often with your other classes. I think Hunter, void, is probably the weakest of everything these days, and I still average 2.3+ on that character.
-
8 RepliesEdited by Uriel Draigo: 5/26/2018 5:30:12 PMThe classes are balanced enough. Hunters get some useful Exotics, that finally puts us more or less on par with our Titan and Warlock brethren in terms of abilities. I think the only reason players feel this way is because most Exotic armor released with vanilla D2 is boring and underwhelming, compared to recent gear. Exotic gear and classes need to be buffed!

3 RepliesEdited by TheArtist: 5/25/2018 1:04:34 PMTry playing something other than a Warlock. I play all three, but main a Warlock. Your frustration is warranted...but not because Hunters are OP... The problem is that Bungie throttled Warlocks WAY too hard trying to be the "perfect" e-sport. Warlocks in Destiny 1 were the premier DPS class. With their advantages in damage-output...offset by their reduced mobility and reduced ability to tank damage compared to Hunters and Titans. But the Trials players----angling to have every advantage to themselves....and remove it from everyone else....cried nerf. ...and Bungie caved. So with the wholesale NEUTERING of abilities that happened from D1 to D2....Warlocks got hit disproportionately hard. Basically reducing Warlocks from a DPS class....to basically a support class. Compared to the other two classes in PVP....they are slow, fragile....have a terrible neutral game. (With exception of Devour Voidlocks)....and the supers have absolutely been neutered (until Dawnblade got its recent buff). Cataclysm LITERALLY moves so slowly that as a Hunter I can run away from it. Or as a Titan, skate away from it. Which is why Warlocks are seriously underrepresented in PVP. Once again Bungie goes too far, and basically declawed and defanged them. Making Hunters and Titans much easier to play with in PVP than Warlocks right now.

10 RepliesI think this is pretty biased. They all feel relatively balanced to me.
-
Yeah... classes are pretty balanced. I just consider hunters the most “forgiving” class in PvP. Every hunter will disagree with me tho. I play all three classes pretty evenly.
-
People over here damage controlling lmao the gear and some sub classes need changes and buffs it’s obvious dawn blade needs a blasted buff and omg sentinel is Trash in pvp(hit markers Suuuucccckkkk) lmao pvp gear is way too favored to hunters especially for the most OP thing you can have in pvp which is RADAR control/detection. People screaming op when the warlock gets 1 exotic that extends there radar when on a healing rift which is a SKILLL that has COOLLDOOWWNSS lmao when hunter can have multi mida radar on a graviton lance or vigilance wing which is OP considering there already exotic weapons and that’s just one. this is A NO DAMAGE CONTROL COMMENT so I’ll just blast away GG
-
I agree 100% it’s the reason that almost everyone plays a hunter...too bad I just can’t bring myself to wear the dress uh I mean cape
-
lol, this guy ever been against a team of titans in competetive? thats a hard fight haha
-
7 RepliesThe OP is Helios3582, just so everyone knows who is responding to thier posts now.
-
But have u tried synthoceps, transversive steps or ophidian aspects?
-
51 RepliesNah you're prolly just bad. Warlock is great and Titan has op grenades. Classes are fine
-
1 ReplyI honestly want to have warlocks and titans buffed instead of having hunters nerfed whatever that means
-
11 RepliesPvP class balancing in D2 is a lot better than D1. You just need to practice and learn how to engage and counter others. No class in D2 PvP is “over powered “, it’s the person you’re playing which may be a better player or may have the upper hand in the fight depending on the situation.
-
Vigilance wing and graviton lance are not class specific. Getchu one.
-
The classes are fine. Warlocks just need to play more conservatively and they’ll do fine. I kinda liken my playstyle to a vulture. When my teammates are about to go into a firefight against a bunch of opponents, I hang back, give them an arc soul, then pop in an out of cover giving support at long range and maybe chucking a hail mary grenade. Then, when most of the combatants are dead, I go in with an auto or hand cannon and clean up. You just need to be more careful
-
2 RepliesDawnblade has one of the best Neutral game of any class and it’s super is pretty decent too, Striker/Sunbreaker is also great in PvP
-
2 Replies
The only class good for pvp is the hunter.
So, why don't you have one?
