65 Nightfall Clears To Obtain The Ghost Shell
Seriously Bungie, this is not OK for an activity that only comes around almost every 8 weeks.
65 Nightfall’s. 65!!!!!!! Since TUESDAY!!!!!
Please do something to regulate the RNG. This is absurd.

1 ReplyYou want a good ghost shell? Farm, get illuminated engrams, dismantle the items you get until you have much bright dust, check the eververse every week, buy a WAY BETTER ghost shell than this thing you are chasing after. :-)

There was a post last week about how pissed off this person was for getting the sniper on his first NF run. Both instances are the extremes of rng, but someone has to be on both ends. Sadly, you're on one of those ends.....

Did over 30 for the sniper last week. Now haven't bothered, did maybe a handful and no ghost. My clanmate has 5 of them though.

I hope Bungie disclose what are the point milestone + probability to get these kind of drop. There are some of the loot I like but this really sounds terrifying.

Wow you ran this 1 Nightfall more times than I have done the Nightfall in D2 combined. You should get a emblem with a rack and whip on it.

3 RepliesHow long did that take you? I'm guessing about at 4 to 5 an hour... so about 16 to 21 hours. I'm guessing longer if you were LFG'ing it. Adding waiting for people to join and several minutes to spawn in. Did it feel good when you got it? I know when I play games like MHW / Dark souls I know it feels good when I beat a boss or get past something on stuck on.

I know this doesn't even hold a candle to your clears, but last week i completed prestige 20 times and didn't get the sniper. As someone who doesn't have a ton of time, it was very frustrating

Just waiting now for the idiots to come on here and defend 'the grind' we've all been asking for lol Seriously, it should not take 65 play throughs of an activity to get its reward, especially when it's a ghost with shit perks. Now, if it was an awesome weapon (best in class) I'd feel slightly better about it needing a grind, but for this week's ghost I gave up after 17 runs and haven't played since.

16 RepliesThey're meant to be rare to give people something to grind for. You know what the community has been whining about since launch? "Wah, wah, wah over 200 guns and so many different sets of armor to grind for but I already have the few the YouTubers and Twitch Streamers say are best so I no longer have anything to grind for." Those people. The ones that want snowflake variants of guns by having random rolls brought back. Even though people will then complain it isn't balanced or fair because so and so has a better roll and RNGesus hates them for only giving them crap rolls.

It's just rng. You say you didn't really enjoy doing the nightfall after your first 15 runs then why keep doing it for a mediocre ghost reward? It's a bit of a case of pavlov's dog don't you think...
