What the fxck is wrong with people? You barely [i]whisper[/i] the words "Youtuber" or "Streamer" and everyone just starts projectile shitting diarrhea from their mouths. I dunno what is so evil about this video or any of them he makes. He's just a dude who makes videos either to show guides to stuff in the game or to just state some of his opinions, which he's actually pretty good at. Byf is very good at lore videos, so is Myelin. The way they lay the lore out is better than Destiny's storytelling in both games combined. TV is very level headed and offers straight up thought out feedback, and his gameplay is actually entertaining to watch. None of these mother fxckers have ever said that they are some Epic Gods of Destiny Gaming. I would fxcking kill to make money by sitting on my ass and playing video games and editing videos all week. If I could make that sustainable I'd do it. That should be every gamers dream job, and yet all you hear is sour ass crybabies all like "durp, him play game make video of game, him leech, durp, him ruined game, him a loser." And there's the other reason. People say the streamers asked for nerfs and carried a megaphone and had Bungie making changes to this game that the community didn't want. Maybe they did half the time. But you are full of fxcking shit if you think the [i]entire community[/i] didn't do that same thing. I quit playing D2 because I think it is lame and dumbed down like everyone else. I hate the controversies and stupid cash grab shit too. I thought D2 was gonna do it, I thought the slower crucible would be better, the story, lost sectors, all of it. I did, and I was wrong. I thought the slower time to kill would be good. I was a fxcking idiot. This fxcking forum was full of nerfherders all throughout D1. From the very start. Everybody contributed to that shit. Crying about Thorn, or Last Word, or Hand Cannon range, or Efrideet, or firebolts, or throwing knives, or some stupid bullshit all the time. It wasn't just straight up StreamerGuy433 that called for changes. It was everyone. Even you. Even me. It's just that Bungie was too fxcking stupid with handling the fixes to this shit. Oh [i]this[/i] shotgun is OP? Nerf them all. Oh, this grenade gets more use? Make it damn near unusable. They were the ones with the ability to make change, and they decided to just nerf every fxcking thing instead of making stuff more powerful. I dunno how you even disagree with what he said in the video. Harder challenges should yield better gear? There are people that disagree with this shit? Are you fxcking kidding me right now?? That's one of the million fxcking problems we have now is that it's turned into an "everyone gets a shitty trophy" game. Played the raid lately? No? Why not? Oh? Who the hell disagrees that Bungie needs to figure out where they want the game to go? When we were kids, it would've been a dream to just play video games all the time and just talk about them and make videos and shit. Dream job. I begin with apologizing for typos and possible grammar mistakes. There are 2 points in this that I would like to address. 1. Loot and difficulty. 2. Streamers as a whole. I see many say that Datto (as an example) want harder content to give better loot and that this is restrictive. This in my opinion is both right and wrong. What is wrong with that claim? Well, I think harder content should always have better (or at least different) loot. This is the core of a loot based game. And it is something to aim for and insentivies players to challenge themselves. I remember playing D1 and seeing people with end game gear. I wasn't envyous, instead I saw what you could get and thought "I want that!" And when something like that finally dropped for me! Oh the joy... The harder you have to work for it, the better the price should be. What is right with that claim? Not everything viable should be behind a specific content wall. You have to respect a players time and playing the game, no matter the content, should give you loot progression, up to a point of course. I think this might be one of the hardest things to balance in a loot based game. Give enough rewards and loot progression in earlier content, but at the same time give valuable loot for the real end game content. What I think would be great for a game like Destiny is not making the end game weapons (for example) better in everyway, ie more damage and reload speed and what not, but instead give them interesting perks. Give them more damage against vex, or slow down enemies hit, or give them some type of proc. Use your imagination. ;) The thing about streamers: I think they have been part of the problem, not just for destiny, but gaming as a whole. I think many times they hype up a game more than any PR ever could. In the case of D2, many hyped this game way over top. Then when problems started to surface, many of them didn't talk about it, or they brushed it off as salty players and that D2 was too new and what not. It took far too long for them to catch up and to finally admit that there where real problems with D2, and I think this angered many players even more. I think this is a problem especially with streamers centered around one game. I would say they are even more dependant on the games long time success than the developers, so they are incentivised to hype it up, and keep it hyped. I think games like D2 are turning this around though. Take for example the coverage of Anthem. From what I've seen most often than not streamers point out "This looks to be really good, but this other thing might be bad, we have to wait and see." The hype for it seems more turned down and a more objective tone is coming accross. Well, this is just my 2 cents.

F**K Datto! Where were all this big streamers 3 months ago when the game was in a shit state. Seriously they did nothing but talk up this game and make out it wasn't as bad as it is because at that point in time the had content to make videos. Now they have covered everything and there is nothing left to cover all of a sudden the games in trouble and the game has flaws and the state of destiny is bad. Datto with his video the other day looking all sad and depressed because he ain't got no content and has to diversify. Pfft go get a real f**kin job Streamers are leeches, they make money from games the had no hand in creating, talk them up to get views and now because he can't make any decent or compelling videos he's calling out destiny and pointing out its flaws. Video games were better when there were no how to videos or updates on content before release. Secrets were actually secret. You find a hidden door leading to an item and felt rewarded. Now people just watch other people play then turn the game on and copy.

Same as always a YouTube going off half cocked about destiny and not taking the views of others into account like for a fact that those at the bottom of the ladder when it comes to some gamers with pve patrol where the rewards system is already broken and this idiot wants to restrictive it even further just to support a select minority. I think that placing restrictions on players in this game even further reduces the appeal of this game which is what bungie should not be focusing on at this point

He's right on some accounts. I don't want the spectrum to flip though. Some of us have 12 hour shifts working 6 days a week. There needs to be a middle ground. More raid perks on armor, better weapons. Strike loot, I like the balance eververse could have just make sure there's enough content everywhere else. In d1 you had to practically buy everything in eververse i like having the chance to get what i want, or at least some mods. For the love of all that is holy... No random rolls. There was so much imbalnce in D1 because of this, 2 tapping people with eyusluna, or cross mapping with palandrome. Kill clip is a good trade off because you have to get a kill first and reload. Luck in the chamber was just random. Secret exotic quests would be nice. Better mod system, more masterwork perks maybe outlaw, zen, dragonfly, planted, quickdraw. Stuff like that. I do feel like all of these influential YouTubers jumped on the hate train, and other people who can't form their own opinion left like flies. Yes there are problems with the game but some people only left because they heard it from mtashed, Datto, SirD, Tv. Etc..

Remember that it's in Datto's personal interest to make better rewards less accessible to the average player. He needs you to come watch him and his crack team (on his channel) beat Skolas because you struggle with the content. Nothing wrong with him looking out for his own self-interest, but his preferences may not work for others.

I watched til point 3 of 5. Point 2 was just the usual pathetic elitist BS that whines about other people getting higher power level stuff without having to do the raid or trials. Why anyone else's gear triggers so many of you is beyond me. Point 3...... well frankly didn't make the blindest bit of sense. One offs?! If that last sentence didn't make sense to you then we agree. That is literally what he rambled on about and after about 2 minutes I still didn't know what a one off was and why it upset him so much. The fact of the matter is Destiny has been around for 3-4 years. It stands to reason that a lot of the players have become bored with the game particularly if you play it all the time. If Destiny 2 continued as D1 did then the anger of "just another dlc" being sold as a new game would have been crazy. D2 has many issues, we all know this, but it's not nearly as bust as most people here think it is. If you love Chinese food how many consecutive days of eating it do you think you could go before the sight of it makes you sick?
