Content of the DLC aside, do we really want to send the message to Bungie and Activision that we will buy their product no matter what? With all the uproar about Microtransactions, and the deliberately rigged Experience points system I think it's a good time to put the foot down.

Well I bought the Limited edition which I think includes both expansions 1 & 2, so It might be a bit difficult for myself to boycott buying Curse of Osiris. Lets hope the game gets improved over the next two mini expansions.
-
DO NOT BUY UNTIL THEY FIX THE ISSUES THAT WE HAVE
-
we don't need to, no one's gonna play anyway
-
I didn't pre-order this time around as I had a feeling they would pull a stunt like this, and haven't played the shower of Shi t sequel since the 25th Oct, and even then I logged in looked at my ship in orbit, scratched my balls and thought "nah" and turned it off. Anyone who played d1 from alpha release and bought this poor attempt at a sequel is more or less in the same place..... my friends list is now full of people playing titles other than destiny.

9 RepliesOr..... If u like it but it. If u don’t then don’t buy it. Pretty simple.

100% buddy. Although bungie hiding behind a written blog wont do them any further service, however they started addressing our demands and issues. Big thanks to the dedicated community out there who discovered the xp throttling as it paved the way for drastic measures to be taken!
-
1 ReplyI’m not buying unless the new livestream shows they actually care about more than money.
-
1 ReplyI would but I pre-ordered it like an idiot.

Absolutely. Hitting their bottom line is the only truly effective way of forcing change. It's good that we've all been screaming at them here and all over social media (literally ever FB post they make is full of hate and I love it because it means people are finally fed up of Bungie's BS). But simply yelling at them isn't enough. If that DLC launches and hardly anyone buys it, that's a lot of time and resources basically wasted, and a very unhappy Activision bearing down on them. Once that happens, maybe then we'll get the game we deserve.

New interview with Deej about the Curse of Osiris stream https://youtu.be/2eZW8YUVsnI

8 RepliesThe blog they're posting tomorrow will be my deciding factor on buying the DLC or not. We'll see.
-
I will not get it until change happens, no more promises, I don't care. I just don't like the game as is.
-
It's at this point i think the question is: "Do we even have to ask if we're boycotting the curse of osiris DLC?" Change your title to that. Please lol I'll sit on warframe and add more hours to my infinitely more emotional, and fun filled adventure that i've been able to span out to gaining over 2500 hours over the course of almost 2 years.

Everyone play D1 on Dec 5
-
6 RepliesThe player base dropped so hard that i couldn't imagine a rushed, boring DLC will do anything to change it. The more i read about this game the happier I am i didn't get it. Just quit for 30 days, try it, you'll never play it again. I promise. I finally quit in January after 1,000 hours since launch. D1 was pretty fn addictive though, i'll say that much. D2 looks boring in every way
-
2 RepliesI'm already going to hold off on getting the DLC until after it comes out and I can get an idea of what I'm paying for via YouTube and word of mouth.
-
3 RepliesWe all payed for it. Bungie couldn’t care less if we play, as long as we pay. Boycott is pointless for prepaid content.
-
11 RepliesIdk, I mean with Anthem coming soon in 2018, it's going to launch Bungie into a competition and actually work their asses off, being creative on another level, and make the game we were promised
-
7 RepliesNot really. I have more money than I know what to do with, and I don't give a shit about anybody else's feelings. I'm going to play. If I get bored, I'm going to buy something else.
-
4 RepliesI could care less about the boycott however . I was able to get a refund on my season pass .. so I’m good .
-
14 RepliesI have no interest in boycotting a video game. I have no illusions about how the video game industry operates these days. I'll play Curse Of Osiris for a couple of weeks, and move on. I'm not expecting a lifetime return of fun from an effing video game.
-
I already bought the bundle sadly, but I will continue my boycott of Silver and I will be boycotting the DLC after the Warmind DLC for as long as Bungie doesn't address and fix serious community concerns.
-
Ooh me knackers
-
I would if I hadnt already bought the deluxe edition (which has the pass) They got away with my 100$ already. I wish I could get a refund
-
We should. Even though most of us already paid for the DLC it would piss off shareholders if the majority stopped playing.
-
4 RepliesPreordered season pass. I will play. “Meh” to all your feelings.
