Anyone else sick of constantly being rushed in nightfall
I for one am getting sick of the BS of being rushed through nightfalls. I miss destiny one being able to solo them if I so chose too. Hate feeling rushed all the time get enough of that everywhere else maybe hey some weeks aren’t rush rush rush.

i would have preferred a nightfall without a timer and a better dificulty than just "quick hurry"..+ thats lame and tedious.. not difficult..

After I got the Rat King that was basically it for me. Maybe ran one other time after that and got shit rewards so I don't even do Nightfalls any more

Best thing in Destiny 2 right now is the Prestige Nightfall. A sense of purpose and strategy instead of a glorified patrol mission with harder enemies.

Yes. I agree that it should be really hard...but get rid of the god damn timer. I want to enjoy it, not run through it

Edited by Escanor: 10/13/2017 3:23:19 PMIn one of bungie's past interviews they said they made it so you didn't get a sparrow untill you had beaten the game (or hit level 20) so you could see how beautiful the game looked and not just fly through to the objective. Now they put a timer in the nightfall and you have to rush through the strike. Make up your mind bungie. I'm not complaining that the timer makes it hard, I mean I do the nightfall every week. But damn bungie, make up your mind.

9 RepliesThe timer ruins the night falls. sure some people might like it but you get rushed and make mistakes and it take longer and who wants to get to the end and have the danm thing end before your done because the stupid timer ran out. Sure give something for doing it in a certain time like the icebreaker in d1 but don't make us go fight against the timer it takes the fun out of it. hell I don't even remember some of them because we had to rush threw it so fast. Bungie, make the timer an option not a must. For those who can solo the nightfall and have time to spare don't bother giving me crap about this post, I wont even read it and wont give a rats ass what you think. I get it your cool you can do the nightfall no problem well your not the majority so I don't care what you wana say.

They should have left it alone. Nothing wrong with the way it was in Destiny 1. I understand a lot of people like the way it is set up now, but I'm on the side of if it's not broke.....

Doesn't make sense they added strike scoring and such in destiny 1 cause bungie didn't want people rushing thru strikes...so let's add a timer to nightfall to make people rush. Bring back year 1 return to orbit if team wipes and blue flaming heads when complete.

Maybe you should just play a different game.

I say keep the timers as is with the variation on getting time but once it runs out don’t end the game but have it turn to the regular strike rewards once finished.

1 ReplyCrying about the easy challenges such as the nightfall timer is exactly why destiny 2 is so shallow compared to D1. Bungie made everything too easy to appease the casuals / complainers and now we have no meaningful end game.

I finished the nightfall three times with more than 5 minutes left this week. I agree that shooting anomolies suck but i think Bungie turned the timer into a good thing when they made killing the enemies add time. I'm sorry if you can't beat this weeks nightfall with a couple minutes left you need to rethink your build and just get better at this game....

normal nightfall is a piece of cake, prestige is a bit more of a challenge but still much better than D1s boring asss nightfalls
