Anyone else already bored?
I find myself loging on and just staying in orbit thinking of something to do. Idk why I definitely wasnt this bored so fast in the beginning of D1. The only thing that as keeping me entertained was the raid, it was extremely hard for me tbh, I probably went through at least 100 fireteams. When i finally beat calus i felt a sense of accomplishment then a huge sense of disappointment, i didnt get anything. I honestly dont feel like ever doing the raid again, i can just easily hit 305 by just doing the weekly milestones. I fee like the exotics are not as good as the d1 exotics, I remember wanting yo grind just to get my hands on a hawkmoon, ghorn, ice breaker, last word but with D2 i dont have that same drive. Maybe it's because i have most of the exotics idk. I definitely love the game and im sure well get more content.
Honestly, i wish they didnt take out lmgs i never see anyone using smgs except sometimes in pvp. I loved the thunderlord and corrective measure sigh*. I also hate how they brought back some bad exotics from d1 to d2 like lucky raspberry or whatever its called. If your gonna bring back exotics from d1 bring back the helm of saint 14, heart of praxic fire, hawkmoon, icebreaker, red death etc. its super disappointing to get an exotic thats not only from the last game but also wasnt really liked by the community.
Anyone know if they have fixed the legend of acrius token bug?

1 ReplyI was bored in D1.. and as a casual gamer I'm already bored in D2 :/ at least the second time around I knew what I was buying and it was fun while it lasted. I desperately just want this game to live up to an epic MMO status where there is always new loot to grind for. They established a strong, but very bland, foundation in Y1D1 and bungee should have the players expectations nailed down by now! It's not that difficult to just take the excellent mechanics already coded and expand upon the content in unique ways, i'm not asking them to reinvent the wheel but hell even sparrow racing for an exotic ride would make me happy at this point! Come on bungivision make my dream game and I'll spend a fortune on it no problem!!!

Normally I would play PvP when PvE gets stale, but I very rarely get a team that wants to work together, so bollocks to it. Tuesdays and Sundays for me from now on.

I'm having a blast. Then again, I play for this wild concept called "fun" and not trying to "grind" for "rewards" I'm supposedly "entitled" to. I remember playing an old MMO called Earth and Beyond, where the raid took hours and about 50-100 people, and ONE "exotic" would drop. That game, while amazing, became "work" and not "fun." So now I play games for fun.

1 ReplyI recently got the dragon's chest for hunter and this has to be one of the worst exotics in Destiny history. Buffing movement speed and weapon handling after dodging is incredibly weak and simply not worthy of being considered an exotic.

I just do the last boss. Doesn't take long pretty easy once you've done it a few times and you get a decent reward, though it pretty much leaves you with nothing to do for the rest of the week.

Yup. Should have added all of this on to D1. Or at the very least they should have shipped with 10 strikes. And heroic strikes with modifiers.

At this point the only thing I need to do is run the raid for full armor sets for all 3 characters and a flawless trials for me to feel “complete.” That will take a few weeks but I don’t have to grind at this point. There is nothing else to grind for and for me PVE is always easy for me to complete so it really only leaves PVP as the final bread and butter but we all know how that goes.

3 RepliesI understand how you feel but destiny 2 hasn’t gotten old yet? The way I see it if your map is not clear from other activities then your not done. The fun never ends, you have a clan? Join them and help them achieve the highest rewards. It’s hasn’t been a month yet and bungie is full of surprises

I had fun with that gun despite not being the most powerful. Same for Hardlight. Its there in game, but they sorta killed it with the gun tracers. Shoots like your generic energy autorifle. At D1's bullets looked like you were shooting a storm trooper rifle. D2's counterpart lacks style.
