Destiny 2 just feels so hollow. Nothing to do, boring raid, bland planets. I'm really finding myself going back to D1. I think I'm not alone in this either, no content really has context. Such a shame

I'm already back and had so much fun with my mates in crucible tonight

1 ReplyThese crybaby whiner posts are sooo amusing!! It's like they actually believe that this game was created to suit there level of standards. LOL Too bad , so sad , Don't let the door hit y'all on the way out.

2 Repliesyep after 2 weeks of d2 i already revisited d1. i missed my nlb too much. i'm not quitting d2 anytime soon, but i agree, it's been a little underwhelming so far. being a solo player in crucible really sucks, and there are only a few good maps. also i thought the story was overhyped and overrated just because there was no story in d1. and 30fps near the end of 2017 is disappointing.

I'm going back tonight

10 RepliesGo try D1 crucible now...hella fun!
-
I played D1 last night and I had a great time! Went to play D2 afterwards instantly went to overwatch

Edited by ken31cayman: 9/22/2017 2:23:21 AMI've missed Year 1 Destiny for years now. I'm still enjoying D2 pve content for a little longer but for me strikes and public events won't last too much longer before I get bored. The leviathan raid is just so mechanics heavy the fun factor is lost imo. Finished it once, don't really care to go back. Nightfall I haven't even tried, don't think I will anytime soon. Hate timers.

1 ReplyI still play D1. Not in my to bother buying D2 at all.

6 RepliesIn destiny 1 Exotics were more worth getting , sub classes had better perks and more options , armor had more useful States , raid gear right now is no different then any other gear no point in farming the raid you'll get a set from the clan grams eventually and you can just infuse up, the raid in general is just a bunch of annoying puzzles not worth the head ache , no actually point in playing pvp or doing strikes after you hit a certain level which honestly only takes a couple days to hit, anything they give you will be useless, shot guns and snipers are almost never seen because they are never gonna be better then sword or rocket launcher they just aren't I know somebody will argue that " I use this shot gun all the time blah blah" but you can see the real lack in people using them you proabbaly even find yourself not ever using them unless it can raise your power level and it's your only option. Putting them into the same category as rockets and swords was just very lazy way to attempt to balance pvp but made pve take a unnecessary hit , not one dreg was complaining shot guns were op. Grenade launchers are useless. The change in shaders was clearly for micro transactions, anyone who argues that is blind changing the shader system in general was stupid was noting wrong with them in d1. This game has potential really does but bungie needs to start firing some people and pulling their heads out their as$es because they took a lot of step backwards with this which blocks out all the good they improved on like the story. I just hope the new faction stuff coming out this week is good.

8 RepliesGreat quote on Reddit... 'Destiny 2 is miles wide but just an inch deep'
-
1 ReplyIkr. I feel like Destiny 2 is a Calzone that has a giant ass pocket of air in it.
-
3 RepliesLegendary engram drops were constantly exciting in D1. The combination of anticipating what it would decrypt into AND the weapon roll was awesome! Yeah, RNGesus could shit on you forever, but you always amassed a collection of super dank weapons. Some players dont like playing the slot machine but sooooo many also do.

1 ReplyI agree with you 100% literally having this conversation now in party chat we have nothing to do and no inventive to pick a activity to do other than farm heroic events for exotic engrams. D1 gives you plenty to do even if you don't want to do it. I'm not salty I'm just disappointed I really want to play d2 I want to enjoy it, but unfortunately I can't it's just not all there. I wasn't here for the beginning of d1 I joined ttk so maybe I was spoiled with choice and maybe I should give d2 time to shine. I know there is thousands that really love d2 but equally there are the same that are dissatisfied for whatever reason. But from my personal opinion I'm finding it extremely boring and lacking playability.

1 ReplyShoot, if D2 raid was as good as VoG I wouldn't have a damn complaint about this game.
-
Yeah, but destiny 2 looks at least 10% better than destiny. Doesn't that outweigh all of the criticisms?😉

Such a shame[/quote] I'm right there with you. After last night I'm giving serious thought to going back. I've done everything, BUT ITS STILL FUN! D2 isn't a month old and I'm already bored with it.

And, I really do miss how I could resurrect my Warlock from the dead without the help of my Ghost!
-
There's More to do and the planets are way better in destiny 2 but I miss destiny one because the guns and armor. And the raids and strikes.
-
10 RepliesFor me, nothing will come close to being as good as Year 1 destiny.
-
5 RepliesSo very very true. Literally nothing to do. I think they'll be shocked when player numbers reach HQ. My clan had 90 online for 2 weeks, this week 3,4 on, people playing other games, I deleted my characters n uninstalled the game
-
2 RepliesThen go back. Seeya

4 RepliesI feel like D2 was bungie's attempt at going two steps forward in the franchise. The only problem that i personally see, is that they went one step forward, tripped and face planted the pavement on the second step. Does anyone feel this way? I see improvements in many areas that pissed me off in D1, but then i see moments of disappointment. Maybe its just.... idk.

1 ReplyEdited by wojo55: 9/21/2017 9:03:53 PMDestiny 2 is an improvement in almost all regards. Your just reminiscing Your description fits destiny 1 so much better

7 RepliesBland planets compared to D1?
-
I'm sure you and the other delusional fanboys are the only ones.

I played D1 a couple days ago so I could get level up my hunter to 400 since he 397 which would make me have two maxed out players. Pretty fun not gonna lie
