So who's ready to have their Nightfall times ruined by the boss who runs away every 2 seconds?
Who's ready to suffer this week? Exodus Black Down strike is the Nightfall - I don't know about you guys, but I just cannot wait to have my timer chewed through by a boss who runs away when you so much as breathe in his direction.
Already thought this strike was trash and forcibly prolongued, now we're going to see it on a whole new scale.

The timer has completely ruined the nightfall experience no longer a wow momma t when birds come it or how hard the boss is just rush rush rush run past everything u can. Stupid and franctly my stoner ass could of came up with a better idea. Someone needs to be reprimanded for looking destiny fans over stupid changes to what was already perfect. Thanx again my clan just agreed to never do a nightfall again no need when Unger more rewards from half the time doing anything else thanx biggie for being idiots

Not so bad. Took about 6 min to kill boss. Went in with 11 min. And had just a lil over 5 min to spare

First time me and my fireteam lost to time second time we beat it with almost 7 min remaining, I think. It seemed to us the boss comes out faster the quicker you kill adds, also Merciless helps out alot.

Normal nightfall only played two times to complete. Only 5 sec left. Did not try the other version. Actually had some fun playing

Watched a guy solo this nightfall. Use Risk Runner and a sword.

1 ReplyThere's a time cheese and it makes the NF EXTREMELY easy. We beat it with with over 9 mins left. Guaranteed rat king if you use the cheese. I mean, you don't have to cheese it. I've beaten it legit too but this strike is already a pain and the NF version just makes it worse

You have to shoot the shanks to get him back. It's not hard to understand. Or be lazy and push him off.

My favorite strike boss actually. One of the rare strike bosses where I can actually use a sword and not get super punished for it, but rather rewarded. Compared to the other bosses who just stomp you or is too high up i cant reach. Swords do the most damage against Thaviks in terms of damage over time. 1 slash is equivalent to 1 fusion rifle. Do the math, a single person can push thavik's thresholds with just 4 slashes. If everyone had swords, profit. Finish thaviks with 5 minutes to spare, easy.

I ran the Spire for the Rat King. I'm done with this NF timer joke. Nightfalls never were worth running. Definitely not now.

This. Why give me a timer if the dumbass boss is gonna retreat and hide or become Immune. Its a half assed attempt at increasing difficulty.

2 RepliesThere's a cheese now where you can leave somebody back by the exodus black, and they can go back and forth from there to the last area and kill an anomaly over and over again. My group did that and got to the boss w 12 min left

Yo if you kill the adds quicker he seems to stay around longer. Also. There's a dreg or vandal that gets stuck by the door. Make sure you kill him otherwise the boss disappears for ages.
