I know Its way too early to tell, but you are showing things way too early anyway (patrols).
Sooooo when these events roll around (Iron Banner and ToO) will they be strictly Pvp only events or have you finally found a way to include pve? Just need a yes or no. Don't need details.
Edit: Traveler spoke to me in my sleep last night. Said everything you guys are trying to say, in one word

8 RepliesThis is a dumb ass post. One bugnie wont do it because -blam!- you and anyone who buys this game, two look at these comments....you are all stupidly buying this SHIT game and they shit on you for asking a question. Why would you even keep trying to submit ideals(not an idea, but a meh question)? why would you want to be apart of a community like this? No one here sounds educated on the b.net forums B.net is proof that clan system will FAIL HARD AS -blam!-. And three how would they make a Iron lagger and Fails of Lag pve events? huh? bungie isn't that smart. Smart enough to fool all of you, but not smart. Dumb asses couldn't even make the game 60fps without making the game smaller. But the game is smaller? 4v4? nerfed and copied everything? Honestly, anyone one like you who still has faith in this game, bungie or this community? must be brain dead. Between bungie not giving a -blam!-, and taking you all for a fool, and these fanboy/fanboy who shit on each other for having a thought and are entitled pusses who think the game should be made their way (fat ass luke smiths)? You all deserves to get -blam!-ed. Sorry not sorry. Bungie is dead, Destiny 2 is the walking dead. ....wait this wasn't an idea...it was a question? I'll answer for you. -blam!- you~Bungie and fanboys Real shit, I'm rude but truthful. Give up on this game, coz wont answer you, community will cum all over you, and I'll let you know the hard truth.

Well Iron Banner is PvP only. ToO is destiny 1 only. Instead we get Trials of the Nine and the game mode is one of several PvP modes including countdown and survival. The Emissary of the Nine administers it. Brother Vance dies in the Osiris DLC.
-
Trials of Osiris PVE Mode: Free Roam Spectator Mode Lulz but for real, make that happen I wants.
-
4 RepliesIB pve version: 2 teams of 3 go into the same strike, so 6 ppl will be doing the strike at the same time. The team does the most damage or highest kill count wins. Different modifiers can be used i.e. most grenade kills, most orbs, etc.
-
With regards to ToO lets be happy it's dead for the moment.

I don't think they'll even incorporate PvE elements into ToO and IB. It just doesn't make sense game play wise, ToO is supposed to be endgame PvP where only the best can hope to make it to the end. Personally I think the lighthouse acts as a raid for people who prefer PvP or cant complete an actual Raid. And Iron Banner really has no need for PvE, its already super easy to progress through, even if you're losing more matches than winning. It just doesn't make sense and I have no idea how they would even manage it. (maybe my imagination is lacking) Though, It'd be nice to see some sort of event that incorporates both PvE and PvP. With the speaker out of the picture and Osiris more prevalent in the story maybe this could be possible. Maybe Vance or another Acolyte offering rewards to players who delve deep into the darkness to discover forbidden secrets which to use against other guardians? I like your idea OP, I just don't think it will happen to IB or ToO. PvP was already lacking in Destiny 1, and with it now only being 4v4 they've taken even more away from it. Further degrading the activities by making its only interesting activities achievable through PvE is a bad idea. Its always funny reading comments on a topic that relates to PvP, the butthurt goblin hordes that are the PvP community provide me with enough salt to preserve my meats for years.

10 RepliesWhy would Iron Banner or ToO have a PvE side? They're for skilled players, not babies.
-
those are PvP events. no reason for em to have PvE
-
2 RepliesI don't see why not.

4 RepliesI am soo sorry for the way this community. The way people treat each other here really sucks. Truth cast had the right idea.

4 RepliesEdited by Trill_0012: 8/30/2017 6:44:53 AMEdit: Im not bungie, but I doubt we pve players will get it. They will want those pvp numbers up (even those its terrible -blam!-ing 4v4) so they'll likely keep it strictly. "If you are a pve player and want that gear so bad play our terrible 4v4". Edit: Edit: Im all for it, but this is bungie we are talking about dude. They aren't innovating they are making shit worse imo. 4v4? Come the -blam!- on bungie.

1 ReplyI get what you are saying. Not sure why people are attacking you for this. But I don't know how they would incorporate those things into PvE other than special PvE missions related to the story of IB or ToO (i think they did this for the first IB after ROI dropped??? i can't remember). That would require them developing new content at a ridiculous pace if they had to create new PvE content every week for ToO and once a month for ROI. If your concern is specifically gaining IB or ToO gear via PvE events...that would be unlikely, since that would be like earning Raid gear by playing crucible events.
-
8 RepliesWhy on earth would they tie ToO and IB into PvE? Thats like saying you need PvP for a Raid. See how dumb that sounds?
-
3 RepliesNo, those are pvp events. What Bungie should implement are rotating PvE events to compliment what we already have. These events could be something near to a strike/horde mission, but with the scaling difficulty of a raid with mechanics/modifiers. (Perhaps a night mission into the Cabal occupation of the Last City with unique gear/weapon rewards each monthly rotation.) Of course, this would be the smart thing to do and Bungie's track record for making intelligent decisions is not good.

1 ReplyHow on earth are they showing too much already? This is probably the dumbest thing someone has said all day. We had literally 1/4 the entire game for d1 beta not just part of a patrol revealed at a later date. Bungie even tried to hide the 3rd subclass and people broke NDA to reveal that info ahead of time. Psn trophies have always come out this early for every game ever....... Where is Bungie showing off too much shit?
-
1 ReplyMaybe you're just explaining your idea badly, but in case you're not, that's just idiotic.
-
5 RepliesIron Banner and Trials of Osiris were both PvP endgame activities. PvE has and will always have absolutely nothing to do with either activity.
-
1 ReplyThey already did it is called a raid!!! And weekly nightfall !!!! Holy smokes. However since i like both pve and pvp, i do wish they keep changing up strikes !! Cause after a couple weeks same old same old. Then by one month the only thing that changes is pvp cause you never know who you play against and play with. Speaking from a solo mostily player.
-
2 RepliesI think Trials should be left as PvP only as it does seem to be the pinnacle of PvP. I feel IB could be made in to a event with both PvP and PvE content.
-
2 RepliesHow the hell can you do a trial of osiris/iron banner gametype in PVE? Nightfalls and Raids do that, jeez
-
1 Replyits actually called Trials of the Nine unofficially but trial of osiris doesnt exist anymore

1 ReplyAs long as I can get raid gear through pvp, I would be ok with that.
