Anyone playing the beta thinking it's only a beta and everything will be fixed by the release date.....
Think again. What you get in the beta is what your gonna get on release day. Don't hate me, I'm just giving that warning a lot of us didn't get before destiny 1 came out.
Ok let me clarify abit for these special needs people on here. This is a "W A R N I N G" to basically the noobs who didn't experience the disappointment after destiny was released.
This is not for the geniuses who believe everything they read. ✌

3 RepliesDid you not hear them say there would be a patch the same time the game goes live? I can't remember exactly who's interview it was, might have been Noseworthy's. I don't think everything will be fixed but I hope a good part of it is.

2 RepliesEveryone who played the D1 beta thought the game would be epic (which it was for me). Huge patrol zones, exploration on the moon and other stuff kept us excited for realease. We all know how Vanilla D1 was at the end but we all know how they improved the game over the last 3 years (PvE wise at least). We all will be surprised how good D2 will be at the end. A gorgeous, interesting game, with enough content to play for the next couple of month.

9 RepliesAgree. they say they've made changes with no details. "Trust us... we're listening" heard that before. Bungie told us this was the best way forward, it would allow Bungie to make the best game for Bungie going forward. after they broke that fundamental promise of what Destiny was marketed as.. we still started and supported. they said this would be so awesome (D2) that we'd be happy. now it's obvious we are not happy. bungie's response "Trust us... we're listening" "We've already made the changes" see where this is going? I'm getting off. this is my last stop

Not everything will be fixed. Some things are like they are by design and won't be fixed. Some things will be fixed.

Read the 'this week at bungie' they state that the beta an old build, they've already changed things so who who's what the final game will be like. Just hope we don't get too many cry babies asking for nerfs, I've already seen some streamers complaining about certain weapons.

I think it'll take a year and by then the meta will be horrible. We will end up with slime weapons and then people will complain that the slime needs to be nerfed because it took 1 minute to kill someone with it.

If they fix super energy and power ammo then I am fine. They say they will fix power ammo and we think there is armor perks to improve ability charge rates. Hopefully there is. Those are my two biggest concerns.

44 RepliesBungo did say they can change things way more rapidly than D1 and that they've already changed things from the D2 beta. They have almost 2 months to tweak. We've seen that there are areas that are not yet fully rendered in the game. This post implies that those unrendered areas are staying unrendered. They wouldn't do that. 2 months to tweak. They're obviously changing stuff based on "feedback" from these forums.

Some things can be fixed. I'm not very excited to buy this for a console atm, now even less than before the open beta. Next step PC beta, hopefully it's not this same reveal/e3 build.

2 RepliesAnyone think the subclass tree will at least have extra nodes, other than the ones we can't unlock? It just feels empty. There were multiple ways to use your Nova bomb in D1 and some other perks that seem to be missing. Not sure if this was mentioned before, so I asked here. Other than that, I guess I'm part of the small percent that like the beta, and expect more, and better things in the final version.

The abilities are next to gone But I'm going to play it. Level up a bit more. ..see if that makes a difference in my abilities recharge rate, because supers and abilities suck as of now. ...if not I'll stop at the first dlc Check out my last night rumble stats, all gun play, and you'll see why I love D1 better than D2

1 ReplyAtm in time all i can say is... Weapon system is shite Weapons are shite Supers are shite Ability and supercharging are shite Even the radar is shite... Been playing the beta swapping from 1 ar to another as heavy never drops, grenades charge is so slow i forget they are there and supers are ready just as the activity ends... Thats it.
