Right now my Intel Core i7 950 keeps jumping around between 45 degrees and 60 degrees Celsius. It doesn't stay on a certain temp with just maybe a change of 1-2 degrees c.
I check these temps with Speccy and Speedfan.
The tower has been cleaned of its dust just a week ago. I don't understand why these temps are so high. It has always been around 45-50 degrees c. Never 25 or so. I should probably check if I can improve the temp with better fans, I suppose. My PC is located inside a cabinet a bit. It is an open cabinet and we made a hole in the back for the warm air to escape.
Perhaps there are some errors with the fans. I don't even know much about this system myself. On Speedfan it only shows the CPU0 and CPU fans working at 1480 RPM. The others are at 0 such as Sys Fan, Aux Fan 1, 2 and 3 and the Chassis 1, 2 and 3 fan. No idea what all these are considering there are only around 3 or 4 fans inside this case. The powersupply fan, the heatsinkfan and 1 or 2 others located on case openings.
Perhaps applying some new thermal paste on the CPU could also do wonders. I just don't like doing that since you can mess it up pretty badly. I've done it twice. Only once successful.
I suppose it is at a safe temp right now. Although 45-60 degrees c is way too high for just working with Adobe Animate and some stuff on the internet like Youtube music.
