1 ReplyWow now people start to realize it just like cod ghost just like every other game that people hated before the franchises turned to complete disappointment
-
It's still fresh in my mind tbh -Plasma Rifles/Grenades off spawn making vehicles unviable -(((ordinance drops))) -Loadouts in general -cluttered maps and no flow -promethean vision and bolt shot on small maps (REEEEEEEE)
-
Yes:)

Edited by Jotaro Kujo PhD: 6/29/2017 3:23:52 PMCampaign was okay. The story was miles better than Reach's and it blows Halo 5's out of the water, but the maps were too linear. Multiplayer was garbage, however. Standard H4 has one of the worst FPS multiplayers I've ever played. Took the bad things about Reach MP and magnified them 100 times.

It was my GotY 2012, so yeah, I loved it. I understand at least some of the hate, but a lot of it stems from 'its not bungle REEEEEEEEEEEEE'.
-
1 ReplyLoved it. In my top Halo games. I have the unpopular opinions of liking Halo 5 and not really liking Halo 2 to add to that list of unpopular opinions.
-
I really enjoyed that game. Sure, most of it came from the immense amount of custom games I played and the fact I met some of my greatest friends playing that game, but I think it was one of the better installments.

20 RepliesIt made me hate Halo. No thanks. Master Chief is supposed to not talk and have no depth. He's not some godly being that will save the universe and he shouldn't have a dramatic backstory. He's a soldier. A killing husk of a man. Silent. He was supposed to be the player. Not his own character. That's what made him appealing. Mysterious, powerful, and loyal. Not talkative, emotional, and driven by selfish purposes.

Edited by Hippo_Legacy: 7/1/2017 5:22:32 PMI just felt like the Chiefs story should have ended with Halo 3. I also don't like how they keep humanizing Cortana or the Chief. Cortana is a -blam!-ing computer program, not a humam being. Not to mention the gross way in which they sexualized her. In Halo 4 she goes up about 3 cup sizes, and all of a sudden has this incredibly curvy body. Absolutely no reason for that. The Chief all of a sudden is just full of emotions, sounds like he's in love with a goddamn computer program. Multiple times the Spartans were described as being sociopathic, and lacking most or all human emotions. Chief has lost every single friend he ever had in the other Spartans, the only parental figures he had in Captain Keys, Dr Halsey, and CPO Mendez, but it's the computer program that he can't stand losing? Come on.

Edited by BRUTE196: 7/1/2017 1:41:50 AMI felt like 40% of the lines were cheesy and kinda cringe Also cliche

Nah I've always found it to be a step back from the original trilogy...

1 ReplyLoved the multiplayer. People complain that classes and armor abilities(aa) take away from the gameplay. "It needs to be more gunskill based" I believe the opposite there is far more to fps then gunskill. Such as tactics and adaptation aa allowed for this in a fun and balanced way. This by no means is me complaining because I suck and need more gunskill on the contrary I am pretty good at most halo games and will win 7-9/10 of all fair 1v1 encounters I have with other players. I'm just saying aa and people having slightly different classes add more to the game then most people care to admit and halo 4 really got them right.
touch me bby
1 ReplySo, the cycle continues... 2010- "omg armor lock is broken, load outs?! , not my halo" 2012 -"more load outs?! , sprinting, cod gameplay, this is shit game" 2015- omg, halo 5 sucks. Time to go back to halo 4. reach was amazing 10/10 2017- halo 4 was amazing.
-
Story wasnt very good. Multiplayer was meh.
-
If they ended Chief and Cortana's story in Halo 4, I would've considered Halo one of the best game series I knew. I can agree, Halo 4 was a great game in terms of wrapping up the campaign, and at least leaving us with an ending that I could personally accept. (Spoilers up ahead)
Cortana dying, humanity and Earth slowly beginning to rebuild... and the Chief losing the last piece important to him.... (aka Cortana)
40 RepliesExcellent game imo, I grinded each day from launch till mcc. A lot of people hate on it just to hop on the bandwagon cus it's cool. Main complaints I always see are: plasma pistol, boltshot, loadouts, ordinance and sticky nades. Which I always reply too: Wheelman and survivor counter plasma pistol. Plus don't forget they're only effective at close range, if you're in a vehicle there's no need to get close. Boltshot on smaller maps is countered by boltshot...everyone has access to the exact same gear... Loadouts are not a bad thing...just because cod did it first means zero. Personal ordnance was removed from every playlist aside btb (where it's chaos anyway) (on mcc it's removed across all) in the Ui uptake a few months after launch. Stickies had zero aim assist - they were only good at melee range and vs vehicles. Overall I loved it, especially ctf and heavies

1 ReplyHalo 4, is by far much better than Halo 5.
-
It was okay, but there was still much to be desired.
-
Speaking on strictly multiplayer, I loved halo 4. Sure, the bolt shot was so powerful that 9/12 players per lobby used it as a primary, that sucked. So I stuck to mid range with the br and didn't have many issues. The speed at which rounds progressed was a welcome change in my opinion. Plus having a sprint available to everyone, not just those who picked it as an armour ability was great.

Otherwise it wasn't that great, balancing issues were a thing also. Honestly giving players a one shot kill close range pistol that could also be a precision weapon is stupid. Anyway I much enjoyed dropping in ordinance for my team asking them what they wanted. As well as just thrust packing generally to be a ninja through a window or with speed boost chasing warthogs with a hammer. That or getting damage boost and spraying and praying with the saw. Then they ruined it further because EM EL JEE

There are good and bad things about Halo 4 really. The story was really good, the lighting was pretty impressive for a 360. The multiplayer was bland and the art style just didn't look like "Halo"
-
I thought it was the best
-
Not a huge fan of the art style though.
-
I enjoyed the campaign. Wasn't too fond of the art style though. Multiplayer was okay. I didn't like that everyone had sprint. Grifball wasn't the best either.
-
I guess it just got hate because Bungie didn't make it. 343 did alright with H4, H5 pretty much sucks. But yeah, Halo 4 was actually pretty good.

1 Replythe OST isn't really bad the problem is they didn't make a good job to implemented it on the right positions
