And when i went through the comment. It seems to be that i'm not the only one who's mad about PC being shafted in terms of veteran rewards. The community has spoken bungie. Your move.

You know what this is like? It's like when you are trying to get a new job and you find two completely different jobs. One offered more money than the other, but it is inaccessible to people who have never had a similar job to it. The other is accessible to all and offers the same amount of money that you are already on. So basically you can't earn more money because you don't have the experience. You can't just have a different job for more money. Well, the same could be said for switching consoles. You don't have the experience on the one you switch to, so don't expect it to carry over because it's a completely different platform. Stop whining. If you want to get all your veteran rewards, stay on the same platform. Keep your job. However, with all that being said. Your profile info is stored on Bungie.net so it could be possible to transfer data over between platforms. Deej openly said that they are discussing about it in an IGN interview.

Datto is actually the only streamer that makes me mad. The guy sits there eating crisps on stream and people idolise him for it. Once I popped into his stream and he was on twitch, watching someone else's twitch video and he was editing it for his own YouTube channel. And he had several hundred viewers. I honestly don't get it.

But I bet they're not mad about 4K and an uncapped frame rate... We're all giving something up. Those who choose to stay on Consoles know they have limits! Those who choose to play on PC now know they're starting completely Fresh!!!

Bungie's response - apathy Account info and rewards have NEVER transferred to platforms that are not in the same family. They never transferred between Xbox and PS so why do PC snowflakes believe that they should get these ones. Ffs. They are only a couple of cosmetic items. It's not as though you are missing out on something like a level booster or a weapon pack. So what it you lose Year 1 bragging rights on PC. -blam!-ing grow up.
-
2 RepliesPC players should be happy they are even getting Destiny 2.
-
2 RepliesThey are emblems and mostly ugly..... why is everyone crying again? It's got Bungie and Activision on the box, why are your expectations not at -50 at this point....? 😕
-
I blame Sony.
-
1 ReplyPeople are mad because PC are not getting veteran rewards... they are not veterans so why would they get it. Yes, they were not given a chance at the rewards... of well. Get over it.
-
2 Replies"Shafted"? Pfft, please. PC users are the only ones that get 4K @ 60fps. Who gives two turds about a few emblems that you will literally only use for a week or two at most? Quitchyo bitchin' and put your big boy pants on.
-
1 ReplyKeep that pc shit out of here. Gonna ruin the -blam!-in game.
-
4 RepliesIf you care so much about retaining those emblems - then stay on the console. No one at Bungie is forcing people to switch platforms - that is on the individual players. This is no different than those of us that switched from one console family to another and not being able to retain the progress made on the previous console - which includes the emblems from beta and playing the first week after Destiny's release.
-
3 RepliesDestiny 2 is on PC, new system, new guardians. Destiny 1 was on consoles, not pc. Veteran guardians, earned their emblems through EVENTS and PLAY TIME. People who played Destiny 1 on consoles get them to show their triumphs. This isnt the "Everyone earns the same medal" system where you get the same reward no matter how much effort or time you put into something. Deal with it.
-
6 RepliesWell, since Datto said something, it must be important. Who is Datto?
-
Won't need them. Just mod your character to swap your character map with Cayde-6. Then you'll be kicking butt with style.
-
The community has spoken bungie.
Mmmmm..... nope.
-
As I've said before... What do you want them to do!? Issue some codes to your Bungie net linked email that you redeem on Battlenet to receive the emblems!? YOU'RE ASKING THE IMPOSSIBLE, MAN! GET A GRIP! THE TECHNOLOGY TO DO THIS WON'T EXIST FOR A THOUSAND YEARS!!! MADNESS!!!

Get your vet rewards on whatever console you played D1 on, and drop the "hurr durr pc master race" trash. The D1 vet rewards are for things you did in the game, on that console. It's like doing all your shit on Xbone and then expecting rewards when you switch to PS4. You should consider yourself lucky to be getting it on PC at all.

PC lol

The PC players know what they are signing up for. (Sound familiar?) ~TheGreatNike

I feel like I'm back in the 1st grade with all this whining about irrelevant shite.

8 RepliesEdited by Ahhsenberg: 6/24/2017 3:35:47 PM"PS4 - the best place to play Destiny." Everything else gets shafted. Besides, you should've known by now that Bungie doesn't give a shit about the "veterans". The only thing they care about is gathering new money and hooking more people. And to those not understanding... your rewards are obviously based off of site data... so it's absolutely lazy to not have them apply to PC.
-
14 RepliesEdited by Mowbz: 6/24/2017 1:33:44 PMPC isn't being shafted, in fact quite the opposite. Bungie wants to attract 'new' players on PC, having a load of emblems that they never had the chance to obtain because they didn't play an old console game, isn't very appealing to new PC only players.
-
3 RepliesThey're just emblems...

I started on Xbox one for the beta then got a PS 4 about 3 months after TTK. I couldn't unlock any veteran emblems for MoT. I don't really care. I'm sure others will get over it too.
