Fusion Rifles Are Godly
I have mained shotguns since launch. Love them.
But fusion rifles are the best special weapon in the game.
There's something to be said about sliding around a corner and splattering your charged load all over that enemy Guardian.
The best.

Am I the only one the appreciates Stellar vestige? Besides the Saladin's vigil that took me over 300+ archons forge completions it is probably one of the most consistent fusion rifles I've ever used.

Godly is a bit much. Balanced? Yes. Reward skill? Yes. Versatile? Debatable, but I say yes. Require thought to use? Yes. It's the first and last points that prevent Fusion Rifles from being all over PvP. If they were Godly, I wouldn't use them and everyone else would. Players want what is the least skill-demanding and most user-friendly i.e. not Fusion Rifles. It's why they all use an infinite ammo Sniper with a fair amount of AA and the damage to put you in one-bodyshot range of their newly purchased Vendor Palindrome.

4 RepliesJust so fusions don't get nerfed again, let me tell you how BAD my Saladin's Vigil with QuickDraw, HotSwap, and Braced Frame is. It NEVER hits. Is ISN'T reliable. I DONT think it just might be the best special in the game...yeah, they're bad. Prob need a buff. 😎

1 ReplyI never like fusions at my start in Destiny, but when I got the Vacancy fusion rifle in year 2.... Holy crap my views changed! So consistent! It was my go to weapon when the apes became rampant with Matadors. Fk them!
