I think the adept primaries turned out bad
I LOVED the idea of it back in March. And I still do, but what really ruined it for my friends and I, is how easy they were to get. Literally every single challenge mode completion you get one. And if you're like me, I don't give a crap about armor. Just guns, guns and more guns. Idk if it's just me though. Maybe destiny 2 will restore the excitement of getting exotics. But I think the most important thing they NEED to do, is please their fans. Not the video game media who criticised the game for all the grinding. I hope destiny 2 is less of a casual mmo style game and can be more hardcore then destiny 1, probably not though.

9 RepliesThey literally did Age of Triumph as a final fan pleaser. They brought back ALL the old raids with their armor and weapons, even new looks with the ornaments lol. For. Free. They didn't owe us crap.

And maybe you don't remember back in the day the rage felt when completing raid after raid and never getting an exotic to drop. Lol Bugie makes it easier for players that complete endgame content to get elite weapons and people get pissed and when bugie made it super hard to get elite endgame weapons people got pissed. You're damned if you do damned if you don't.

The point of the raid weapons being exotic was for them to have an elemental burn. What were you expecting they should do?

They were easy for raiders, like ourselves. Keep in mind like 80% of the community hasn't even completed ONE raid on ANY difficulty, so challenge mode is tough. This is sadly what we get now, since Bungie turned the game to easy mode to help casuals feel like they're doing something. Quest/challenge exotics that are entirely too easy to breeze through. NOTE: I do not in any way hate casual players. Just speaking truth. Casual players are a necessity for any successful game. Do not lose your mind. I am not insulting you. lol

2 RepliesAdept raid weapons are useless unless there's a burn on. Waste of a perfectly good exotic slot. Go after the real raid weapons(Vex Mythoclast, Necrochasm, Touch of Malice, Outbreak Prime) if you are looking for more difficult weapons to obtain.

Destiny is, has and always will be a casual game, if you want Competitive PVP for instance get Lawbreakers when it comes out. Destiny will remain focused on easy content that anyone can beat and that everyone can play all the time. Destiny will continue to be aimed at all age groups from 8 to 80. This is why we, as gamers, play other games along side Destiny

Of all of them my most used are wrath auto and pulse. For arc it has to be the nechrochasm. All the others are pretty much vault dwellers.

I think they should have been like this from day one. Not the dropping left and right like they do but the exotic primary having the burn. It would have made the game a little more tactical. Instead of players using the exact same loadout for everything it would have made players think about strategies.
